Dogs Walk This Way

With extreme temperatures this week please remember I will not walk any dogs in this heat and will be starting early where I can. I will do my best to fit every dog in as long as time allows. Walks will be cut short to ensure every dog gets out to make it fair. I also have a child on school holidays so juggling a lot at the moment. If anyone needs to cancel this week there will be no charge. The welfare of your pooches is always my priority.

Keeping hydrated today! Plenty of water and shady walks today and started early to ensure all dogs who needed a walk kept safe. Thank god for breakfast club!
Thank you to my clients who walked their dogs early so I could get those who needed it out. It’s much appreciated. Cooler tomorrow and hoping it’s a while before we have those temperatures again! 🙏🏻🤞🏻

We welcomed lovely older boy Stilton to the gang a few weeks ago. He’s such a lovely boy and made friends with the pack on day one! Such a sweet boy. Many adventures to come Stilton 🧀 ❤️🧀

It’s going to be very hot tomorrow! I will not walk any dog in the middle of the day in 28 degrees. I will do pop ins if needed and get as many out as early as possible. Walks will be cut short so I can ensure the dogs are safe and also so that all dogs who need a walk can get out. The ones I cannot get out I will do pop ins and thank you to my wonderful clients who have messaged to say they are home and can walk their dogs early. The safety of your dogs is paramount to me.

Luckily Thursday is going to be cooler, thankfully!

Today was my last day and I will be on holiday until Tuesday 4th June. I’ll be back walking on Wednesday 5th. Will miss the doggies but back before you know it! Have a great week x

Walks for the next two days have had to be cancelled sadly due to a fall. Annoyingly, I was out walking dogs on Sunday and I fell over after slipping on some mud! My knee is very swollen and sore and luckily having spent most of the day at the urgent care clinic and having X-rays, it is just sprained and badly bruised. Never felt pain like it! Currently hobbling about and have ice on it as well as taking lots of pain relief and cold gel pain relief. I am hoping I’ll be ok for Wednesday walks 🤞🏻
We had a photographer who was videoing the walk as we had lots of walkers join and lucky she didn’t get the actual fall but the lead up to it! I’m sure it would have been worth £250.00 as everyone thought it was hilarious, me not so much! 😬

I’m sorry for the inconvenience it may cause to my clients and doggies.

I’ve been rubbish at updating my social media channels! Here are the last few months walkies… we have had LOTS of rain and then MORE rain!! Hopefully the weather is picking up and we will see more sunshine! Dogs have had a blast 🦮

A very sad time indeed. We learnt that Bobby sadly passed on Thursday. He was part of the Dogs Walk This Way walking pack for a good 4 years and will be really missed 😢💔 For all those who know me, know that my clients dogs are not just dog walking dogs, we are one big family and I treat every dog like my own. Bobby was slowing down due to age
and he had a few health issues and I felt he was struggling to keep up with the pack so a year ago my friend Lucy took over his walks to ensure he could go at his own pace. I know how much his family will be grieving right now as he was such a special boy. We enjoyed many walks together and he’ll be missed by us all. Fly high over that rainbow bridge Bobs and I’m sure they’ll be lots of sausages waiting for you! 🌈🦮🌈

Happy New Year to all my lovely clients. Last few weeks of walkies for 2023 and mainly wet ones BUT fun had by all and I cannot wait to see all my doggies on the 8th when I return to work.

Had the pleasure of meeting up with my sister and her two bullies. Big friendly softies which all of my clients dogs love.

Two days back after holiday and what a change in weather! It’s very muddy everywhere but the dogs don’t seem to care!

Today we had a little photoshoot…. Some natural poses and some err……staged poses!

I am off on holiday now and will be returning to work on Wednesday 25th October. For now I have one very excited little girl who cannot wait to go to Disney! See you all very soon and give ‘my’ gorgeous pups big hugs from me 😘
