Lamlac is a super stamp of a traditional cob, with lots more growing and filling out to do. He will be a real block when he’s done, a proper leg in each corner type. He has three nice, uphill paces and is coming along well in his schooling. He will suit a wide variety of disciplines and would make a lovely family share for a family with some older children. He is not a total plod of a cob but there’s no silliness out of him either.

Lamlac has been ridden by an 11yo girl and went beautifully for her.

Lamlac is good to hack on the road, as well as in open spaces, alone and in company.

Lamlac is good to do in all ways - good to shoe, groom, bathe, tack up, clip, turn out and catch etc. No vices in or out of the stable, on the ground or under saddle. He is happy to live on or out. Has lived in a mixed herd. He is used to dogs, tractors, sheep, donkeys etc. Wormed and teeth done.

Where oh where to start with Cheese! This gentle giant is so laid back he’s horizontal 😴

Cheese is a superb model of a cob with a wonderful temperament to match. A real leg in each corner type with 9.5” of clean bone. He will make the ultimate family allrounder. Quiet enough for Granny and Grandad to hack through the week, gentle enough for the kiddies to have a go on and enough engine for Mum or Dad to hunt at the weekend. He has three nice paces and whilst he will school beautifully if you ask very nicely and a week in advance, he much prefers getting out and about hacking, hunting and doing fun things! He has been lightly schooled over both coloured poles and natural fences - logs, sheughs, gates etc. He is Percheron x ISH so the best of both worlds when it comes to substance and ability! You can hop off him in the middle of a field and abandon him and he will stand until you return.

Cheese has been lightly hunted with the Holestone Farmers Bloodhounds and to describe him in a word - Perfect. Stands like a statue at the meet, good with the hounds, snaffle mouthed at all times and has a very smart pop! He has also baby sat some kids on rowdy ponies and doesn’t mind being used as an emergency brake. We could also see him as a future staff horse as he is very steady with the hounds. For those Masters who are too fond of a port and sausage roll!

Whilst he is young and will obviously need more schooling and education, we believe Cheese would suit a wide variety of riders. We would trust him with anyone and he is a once in a lifetime horse. We really can’t stress enough how safe and steady this boy is. He has been ridden by an 11yo girl and her beginner dad who decided he fancied a turn!

Cheese is brilliant to hack on the road, as well as in open spaces, alone and in company. Hacks past tarmac lorries on the buckle!

Cheese is good to do in all ways - good to shoe, groom, bathe, tack up, perfect to clip, turn out and catch etc. No vices in or out of the stable, on the ground or under saddle. He is happy to live on or out. Has lived in a mixed herd. He is used to dogs, tractors, sheep, donkeys etc. Wormed, teeth and physio done.

Timber is a super model of a cob, with lots more filling out to do, and 10” of clean, flat bone. He will be an excellent addition to any family and can be ridden by anyone. Timber has three nice paces and has been lightly started over coloured poles and natural fences. He will make a fab allrounder and will have a go at just about anything. Whilst he is still young, we feel he could suit a confident novice rider who was having regular instruction and help. He has a lovely nature and is a very solid boy. He would also mature into a proper maxi for the show ring if you were tweed and beige jods inclined!

We just can’t say enough good things about this lad!

Damien is a lovely stamp of a cob, a very smart model who certainly wouldn’t look out of place in the show ring in a few years. He is straight and correct with no lumps or bumps. As well as being a handsome boy, Damien has an absolutely brilliant temperament. He is a kind and gentle boy and really bonds with his person. He has three good paces and is coming along well in his education. Whilst he is young and will obviously need brought on, we believe he would suit a wide variety of riders. He will step it up for more the more experienced riders or would just as easily slot very nicely into a riding school.

Damien has been out to a hunt hack and was foot perfect the whole day. He stood very mannerly on the box, for mounting and waiting for the off. Halfway through the day a young girl was having some difficulty with her horse and we did a swap. He was an an absolute gentleman for her and behaved impeccably for the rest of the ride. He has also been ridden at home by a 10yo girl.
