Hi everyone!
I hope you had a lovely Christmas and new year!
Just wanted to let you know that my mum will be doing dog walking on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
It’ll be £15 for an hour and a half walk.
Let me know if any of these days suits and how often/when you’d like walks or you can get in touch with her through her page - Gails Happy Tails

Thanks!🐾

Hello everyone!🐶
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything as I’ve recently struggled with my health and unfortunately The Dog House will be closed for the foreseeable until I’m better.
I’m going to miss all these gorgeous doggos but hopefully see you all again soon🩷

🐾 Found 🐾

This dog was found on the Townhill road. He unfortunately has no microchip or collar to identify his owners. He appears to have been involved in a road traffic accident. We are treating him for his injuries but we would love to find his owners.

Proof of ownership will be required. Please contact the practice on 02825821239 if you recognise him

***UPDATE***

FREE BULL BREED ONLINE COURSE:

To fight back against this outrageous ban against XL Bullys, I’ll be running a free four week online course. It’ll cover a majority of the skills, behaviours and concepts I teach to help those that need support feel more confident about what’s ahead.

Concept wise, we’ll focus on:

🔹How to build confidence when your dog is anxious.
🔹Recall, loose lead walking and disengagement.
🔹Nosework, and how to use it to help your dog.
🔹Handling and muzzle training.

This is just to name a few of the things. It will be the most comprehensive course, bar the Anxious Dog Academy, I’ve ever done. In terms of layout, it’ll involve:

🔹One online class a week, fully recorded if you can’t make it.
🔹A re-run of my anxiety and reactivity webinar I did earlier in the year.
🔹Video feedback on the work you’re doing.
🔹Weekly Q&A to ask questions.

It’ll be launching Tuesday. To be invited into the private Facebook group, email me at [email protected]. If you’ve already asked for resources then you’re already on the list.
The future is uncertain, but with training, we can make it a bit less scary. I’ll support in anyway I can.

*

Due to the law regarding XL Bullys, I’ll be offering the following resources free of charge beginning over the next few weeks.

1 - A four week online Nosework course to help reduce anxiety and reactivity for XL Bullys.
2 - A re-run of my Anxiety and Reactivity webinar.
3 - A set of my go-to tutorial videos for students.

Either PM me or email me at [email protected] and I’ll add you to the list and drop you a line once I’ve got everything sorted.

My heart goes out to everyone at this time.

⚠️ We have been contacted by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA), part of the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs regarding Blue/Green algal blooms that have been found in the Lower Bann River. ⚠️

People are advised not to swallow, swim or allow pets in the water. Avoid all contact with the algae as contact may result in skin rashes, eye irritation, vomiting, diarrhoea, fever and/or muscle and joint pain.

👉 Members of the public can report a suspected bloom through the NIEA incident hotline on T: 0800 80 70 60 or e-mail [email protected] with a photo, if possible, and details on the location of the potential bloom.

Alternatively, the "Bloomin’ Algae" App enables members of the public to submit a photo of the bloom taken on their phone and state what activity takes place at the location, so that the potential risks to people and animals can be gauged.

The App is free to download directly from Google Play or App Store.

Please take care when walking your dog near water😢

The long-term health of one of Northern Ireland’s “greatest national assets” has been called into question by water safety concerns, a councillor has said.

SORTED!! Thank you all for your comments and shares - we are very grateful and the horseys can get out to the field again soon!

Please help! Paid work! Antrim!

Surely there is a farmer in the country who can help us out 🙏🏼

Desperately need our field topped/flailed and sprayed so we can get our horses back out on it. We have been in contact with SO many people and no one can help us. Small field of an acre if even, with large double wide gate entrance for machinery and easy access.

Please tag your local friendly farmer or Agri person to see if anyone can help us out!!

Does anybody own or know who owns this dog? She wandered into our yard!

DOGGY DAY CARE

The Dog House will open in November 2019 offering a home away from home for all dogs. With both indoor and outdoor play areas we provide a nurturing, safe and fun environment for dogs to have a great day. We focus on exercise, attention, socialization, and providing the mental stimulation necessary for a happy, healthy dog with a well-rounded life. There will be an assessment on each dog before joining the Daycare to see if they are suited for the environment.

The price for a full day at the Dog House will be £15, but we will also offer customers a fixed monthly fee system at a discounted price. Whereby the customer pays a fixed monthly fee for a place at the Daycare on agreed regular day/s per week. The customers who choose this option will receive their dogs first day at the Daycare for FREE.

We will be open Monday-Friday, drop-off from 8am and pick-up before 6pm. Taking bookings from now - Please message for more information :)
