The Dog Stop is a fast-growing and highly recommended Dog Grooming Salon in the beautiful Raceview Mill complex of Broughshane. We are a friendly team of dog lovers that take great pride in our work. This is a great opportunity for a dog groomer to join one of the busiest salon's in the area. We have ambitious growth plans and the opportunity for our staff's personal development is always encouraged.

You will:
· Hold a level 3 diploma in dog grooming or equivalent.
· Be able to demonstrate expertise and knowledge in all aspects of grooming, and have the ability to groom all dogs to breed standard.
· Be an animal lover who will always prioritise the welfare and safety of our canine customers.
· Be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service skills to our wonderful clients.

As I am so busy, I currently cannot offer stand alone nail clipping appointments, I am only offering grooming appointments for the foreseeable where nail clipping is a complimentary service to every groom.

I have had an inundated amount of grooming requests recently (which I am forever grateful for), if I have missed/overlooked getting back to anyone by mistake, then please give me a little nudge and I'll do my best to try and get you in where possible..

💫JOB OPPORTUNITY💫

We are currently looking for a dog groomer to join us here at The Dog Stop. On a part time basis, between 1 and 3 days a week.

This position will be on self-employed basis with a good hourly rate. We are flexible on hours and working times although we do need consistency once hours are established.

Ideally we need someone with at least 1 years grooming experience who is happy working alone and alongside others as there will likely be periods of both.

We need someone who is confident handling dogs as well as speaking to and listening to the requirements of their owners.

🦴 Prepping dog's for the stylist's
🦴 General house keeping
🦴 Reception duties - such as answering calls, greeting clients etc..

No experience is necessary as training will be provided

⭐ CLIENT NOTICE ⭐

Hi 👋 Folk's,

I Just wanted to come on quickly and go through a couple of things with you all..

Firstly I'd just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who left us in cards, gifts and tips this year ❤️ we are so incredibly greatful as always for the generosity and well wishes sent to us for another year 😊

I didn't manage to get a chance to pop on just before Christmas as I'm sure you all were well aware of how busy we were getting the pampered pooches all ready for Christmas Day 🌲🎁, but I do hope that they all had a fantastic time and got some yummy 😋🤤 Christmas dinner too 😄

As we approach the year end once again, I'd just like to say how thankful we are for your continued support, both for this year and going through to next.. and just to remind everyone that we are still closed 🔒 until Tues 9th Jan. I will get back to everyone next week that has sent enquiries etc for bookings.

And finally, with approaching a new year also brings price increases to our services, (I have had a notice up in the salon now for a number of weeks, so this is for those that may have not seen or had family dropping off/collecting their pup's) something I'm reluctant to do 😕 but unfortunately it's simply become unsustainable for me to absorb these high rise costs any further as every inch of keeping my doors open has risen dramatically this year 😔 . New prices to service's/groom's will take effect from Tues 9th Jan - and will be based upon breed, size, style, excess matting, temperament, recommended groom schedule from ourselves. Anything outside of these point's will unfortunately be at a much higher charge, as it simply takes us much longer to complete the groom's etc. I'd highly recommend to those that are not on a recommended schedule already, to please do so now going into the new year to avoid any extra charges.

In the meantime, I'd like to wish everyone a very peaceful new year and we look forward to seeing everyone again in a couple of weeks ❤️
