The farm is dreamy at the best of times, but sunset in winter is honestly my favourite time in the farm all year.

Some of our Saturday treks have been lucky enough to find themselves in the golden hour recently, are you ready to feel the magic?

❄️ LESSONS OFF TONIGHT ❄️

This may be a slower start to January than we were expecting, but every cloud has a silver lining! 🌨️

For one, the farm is stunning in the snow and we really appreciate living in such a beautiful part of the country 🏔️

It also gives us more time to plan and prepare for the year ahead, and think about what we want to achieve. I'll not give everything away, but at the heart of it all we really want to share the magic of horses with as many people as possible! ♥️

Whether coming for an occasional trek is a little piece of solace, or your weekly lesson is what keeps you going each week, or your child's lesson is what brings them out of their shell, that helping at weekends has blossomed their confidence, we all feel the many benefits of being around the horses 🐴

I'm back baby! 💃

Sorry for the holidays radio silence, we took a good few weeks off over Christmas and New Years to spend quality time with the families ❤ I hope you were all able to enjoy your holidays as well 🎊

Now the kids are back to school and we are back to business as usual!

Lessons and some treks have already started back and we're really looking forward to seeing you all again in 2025!

Lessons this week are working on balanced, soft and level hands. The Wednesday advanced lesson had a go at a small jump balancing a crop across their wrists, and Casey couldn't quite believe that she nailed it!

It's never too late to start riding! Or, as is the case for so many of us, to get back into riding. Caroline got back into riding after some years (I'll not mention the number) off. It's such a common thing, you ride when you're younger, life takes over and you stop and then suddenly as an adult you are drawn back to horses. Aren't we so glad that Caroline did, look at her go! It's to be a windy one 💨 Due to the amber warning ⚠️ tomorrow we have decided to cancel our lessons and treks tomorrow to keep everyone safe. Look after yourselves, keep an eye on your gates when letting the dogs out and stay safe!

After last week's slight tantrum from Mother Nature, we are back to business as usual! From the snow, to the wind and rain, we really saw it all last week and are looking forward to a much more settled week ahead.
