🥳🎤GALA BOUND🎤🥳

We are delighted to announce that we are through to the Arts Festival Gala to perform ‘Stodge City Clean up’ at Millennium Forum on Saturday 22nd March. 🪘🎭 🤠

A massive thank you must go to our amazing cast and producers Hannah Kirkpatrick and James Currie. Also, thanks must go to our wonderful band and everyone who helped behind the scenes, without you all it would not have been possible. 👏

Everyone put their heart and sole in the performance at the heats in Ballymena Academy and it payed off. We can’t wait to perform it again and see you all there at the Gala 🥳

🌟🎤🥁Arts Festival Heats 🥁🎤🌟

‼️TONIGHT is the NIGHT‼️
It’s finally performance time tonight and we are performing at Ballymena Academy to compete in the Arts Festival 2025. We would like to wish all the clubs involved the best of luck with their performances. We can’t wait to perform our production tonight and hope to see you all there to cheer us on!

🌟 This Thursday, we had the pleasure of hosting our home club meeting at the Stables. We were thrilled to welcome Casey from Wild Tails! 🐾

Casey brought along some amazing exotic animals from his sanctuary, and we had the chance to meet a snake 🐍, skunk 🦨, armadillo 🦔, meerkat 🦦, millipede 🪱, and even a hedgehog 🦔! It was such a unique experience, and everyone was in awe of the incredible creatures he cares for. 🌿

A huge thank you to Casey for taking the time to visit us and share his passion for wildlife conservation. We truly appreciate it! 🙏

Excellent work Kilraughts!

Our 𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 final took place yesterday evening and the results are now live on our website. 👏

The judges were impressed with how well prepared the participants were and how knowledgeable everyone was on their chosen topics. There was a great range of topics demonstrated which included how to AI a cow, preparing a bull for a show, baking scones, crocheting, extracting starch from a plant and much more!

This hugely anticipated event, in partnership with the NFU Mutual Charitable Trust, will be held across three nights: Wednesday 26th, Thursday 27th and Friday 28th February 2025 in Ballymena Academy. Doors open each night at 7:15pm with the first act on stage at 7:30pm.

On Thursday 16th January, Kilraughts YFC held their Annual General Meeting. A huge thank you to Mitchell Park for kindly chairing the meeting.

🎄Christmas Table Quiz 🎄

On Friday 13th December, Kilraughts YFC held a table quiz held in the Scenic Inn.
It was a fantastic and successful evening with plenty of laughter, Christmas cheer and difficult questions.

On Friday 6th December, members travelled to Methody College, Belfast to compete in the choir festival. Although we didn’t get placed, it was a great performance and a massive well done to all members who put in enthusiasm and dedication.

Kilraughts YFC are competing in the choir festival this Friday 6th December. We would love family and friends to come see us as we would love your support! 😃🎼

We're getting into the festive spirit with our 𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗜𝗥 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟! 🎄🎶

In partnership with Power NI, our much anticipated Choir Festival returns next Friday 6th December 2024 to Whitla Hall, Methody College, Belfast at 7:00pm. Everyone is welcome to come along, there is a small £5.00 entry fee at the door on the night.

Ten clubs will take to the stage to showcase their talent, they are Crumlin Young Farmers Curragh Young Farmers Coleraine Young Farmers Club Holestone Young Farmers Moneymore YFC Collone Young Farmers Kilraughts Young Farmers Moycraig Young Farmers Lisnamurrican YFC and Trillick And District Yfc.

Chairperson of our Programme & Development Committee, Laura Patterson, commented, "Choir Festival is always a fantastic event and it's great to see ten clubs taking part this year. It's definitely an event worthwhile coming to, for both members and non-members".
