We've been quiet for a while, so you deserve a treat - here's us trying studio lights and a backdrop for the very first time. I think it is safe to say Ciri is developing well (although has already lost half of her summer mane - blame me for being lazy and not taking pics on time...).
It cost me a candy, a few tinfoil strips and hundreds of badly taken shots 🤣

Seeing the amount of messages I am getting recently, I think we owe you a few words of explanation why we’ve been quiet for a longer time.

Last month become so far the hardest in our (very little) experience, it has actually proven that the breeding world is an awful one and it's really made me question my decision, made with big excitement and energy that only a newbie has. We have been through a very tough time with the highest hopes and the worst that could happen. We’re ok now, getting fluffier, chunkier, and happier each day as the spring kicks in. But one thing we can say for sure is we have to respect we cannot plan too much when it comes to breeding, regardless if we’ve already read heaps of guides, forums and webinars. The theory here means as much as nothing and health and conditions are what matters the most.
We still hope for kittens this year, we are planning to visit a few cat shows before deciding if we would like to start showing and join GCCF as well and once things settle we might finally make our dreams come true.

My fluffy not-so-little-anymore Munchkin is now an adult.
Ciri turns 1 this month (also she has reached 5kgs lol)🥳.

I have been staring at those big paws on right countless times last year when I became an absolute mental wreck, going through the worst... She's brought me back to life since then, changing it forever.

Ciri says hello in a brand new 2022!

It's funny to look at her now, going absolutely nuts with shedding and me the psycho trying to save our house from the cat hair hell :D I guess (hope? 😅) someone is growing up and we will see her full coat in the next couple of weeks! Looks like I have half of the cat she was just a month ago...

And by the way - over Christmas and New Year we have managed to gather over 400+ followers! Fab news, thanks so much Everyone ###

Please introduce yourself, keep in touch and let us know you. I won’t let any of my future babies to go to people who are firstly asking how much, not how healthy they are. It’s not easy to find them perfect families and it is a big responsibility for me and their future slaves 🦁.

This is my hobby, I am a registered breeder, not a kitten factory like many around and money is the last thing I have in my mind just now. There is already many people on my list who ask about our first litter and those who firstly ask about the price won’t be added in.

🎄🎄🎄This pic comes from last year, when Scotland was covered in snow and ice for Christmas - and this is pretty unusual, in case anyone doubts that!
This is also a very warm memory for all of us here, when we didn’t really know what’s going to happen; that some greatest people on Earth are going to leave us for good and… by the time they’re gone, the most outstanding cat in this world was born to join our family as our breeding Queen - Ciri. It was a very hard year and a very promising one at the same time.
We would like to wish everyone a very warm and peaceful festive break, with huge perspectives and amazing plans. Let’s cherish the smallest things with our families, like there’s no tomorrow. Let’s be crazy with Xmas kisses and mistletoe. Let’s spread the love and may the next year be better than any other. 🎄🎄🎄

This memory came up on my private feed - that pic was taken when Mr Chubby was only 1yo and we just adopted him. We just had to try to hold him like that, couldn’t resist 😂 but didn’t do the usual capture with perspective playing tricks when you face your camera closer towards a cat’s head. This is when people think Mco are enormous and you can nearly buy them for a price per kilo like potatoes 😅 regardless, 2 years have passed and I can barely pick Mr Chubby from the floor, he is currently over 10kgs and still growing. Castrated cats always go bigger and he is a clear example!!

I have to leave my babies for a week and I will miss this munchkin the most. Every time I come back from holiday I have a feeling my cats are not as tiny as I thought 🤣 she’s currently over 4kgs, it starts to be difficult to breathe when she sits on my chest 😂
