We all know that a dog’s sense of smell is up to 100,000 times more sensitive than ours. Their noses have around 300 million olfactory receptors, compared to our 6 million. But did you know that a dog can breathe in and out of its nose at the same time!! 😱🤯

Step 1. Get a treat your dog is willing to work for, something you know they will enjoy sniffing out until they’ve found every last one!
I’ve gone for the Nova Paddock Farm pate meat chopped up into small bite size pieces.
Step2. Hide the treats around the garden and don’t forget to do it at different heights to really challenge your dog’s nose!
Step 3. Once you’ve hidden or scattered the treats, it’s time to ‘release the hounds’ and let their noses go to town on finding those tasty treats.
Step 4. Give your dog some calm space to relax and chill after all their hard work.
