Nobody should have to choose between feeding themselves or their pet. Visit your local Pets at Home Banbury and pick up a food donation parcel to help us feed local pets in need through the Pets Foundation and Blue Cross Pet Food Bank project

Every parcel you donate goes to our food project, which supports people and pets when they need it most.

Pets are beloved family members, sometimes a person's only friend. None should have to go hungry – and nobody should have to make the heart-breaking decision to give up their pet because they can’t afford to feed them. We need your support from 7 – 27 August to promote our pet food bank service at our summer event in partnership with Pets at Home. This event is family friendly, and everyone is invited to join the fun!

GRASS SEEDS!!

My eldest dog had to go to the vets to have grass seed removed from her eye, it actually pierced her eye and she’s now got on abscess, who’d have thought it could cause so much damage.

Thank you so much to Blue Cross UK and Pets at Home Banbury for the pallet of dog food. Amazing 🤩

Also I am extremely grateful to everyone else who donated at Pets Corner, Croft Pet Foods Ltd and Paws Pet Supplies & Fishing Bait over the last few weeks.

I also received £37 in my donation tin from the recent pet shows so again thank you.

It’s important to do all we can to keep our pooches cool, to prevent serious illnesses such as heatstroke🌡️

In England, from Monday 10th June 2024, it will be compulsory to have your cat microchip from 20 weeks of age.

We are hosting a FREE cat microchipping drop-in event at our RSPCA Community Hub in Rushden on Saturday 6th April 2024, 11am - 3pm.

We will be offering FREE microchipping to cats over the age of 9 weeks and this will be open to all cat owners.

Our RSPCA Hub Veterinary Nurses will also be on hand to discuss the importance of neutering and other feline welfare matters.

If you can not make the event, we have our RSPCA welfare clinics every Tuesday and Thursday at our Welfare Hub and can microchip your cat for a £5 donation.

Donations will be most welcome at the FREE chipping event but if funds are low, we would be happy to accept donations for our charity shops to help raise funds for the animals in our care.
