Hello!

This is in addition to our previous email about Thames Water's compulsory leasing part of our field to the right of the secure dog field. Their set-up is taking longer than anticipated, so we are reopening the field this week.

When they start digging close to the fence, we will re-close briefly until their perimeter is boarded.

We will monitor noise and disruption levels and close as necessary to ensure you have a peaceful walk.

The field is freshly mown and looking lovely, as always.

We hope you have all been enjoying the Buddy & Beau Secure Dog Field!

What's changing
Unfortunately, things will be changing for a while; as you will have noticed, the Thames Water Treatment Plant is situated next door, and as part of their continuous improvement plan, they are modernising the plant.

What this means for us
Thames Water will be renting the part of the field to the right of the secure field; this falls under compulsory leasing within utility companies; in other words, we don't have a choice.

How will it affect the Secure Dog Field
Thames Water's entrance and gateway will be separate from the dog-walking field. The leasing area will have boarding around the perimeter to reduce noise and provide privacy.

They are taking up just a tiny part of the dog field to the right, but we will adjust the fencing and extend the field down the bank, making it more undulating and fun for the dogs.

We will have to close from Monday, September 9th, for a short time while installing the new entrance and erecting the fencing and privacy netting; once we have a time plan, we will update you all. For those of you who have a booking this week, I will be in touch today. Weekends will be open as usual, subject to fencing being finished.

We hope the secure field will run smoothly once the boarding is done and the beautiful views remain.

We expect the work to be completed within 12 months.

🌟Another great visit to Buddy & Beau Secure Dog Fields today. No wellies required as there was no mud (anywhere). These four woofers had another great time here again, felt like summer was a little bit closer today. We love the views here could almost come here without the dogs🌟
