Horse-Events are delighted to announce the first of the 2025 Series Dates for 2025

We kick off with a training ODE at Swalcliffe Park to get you prepped for the season ahead and ready for the first of the ODE Qualifier for the National Eventing Championships 2025

We will be announcing all of our National Eventing ODE Series Dates organised and run by Horse - Events throughout the week so stay alert, entries will be online soon.

🏇🏻If you organise an ODE and would like to offer your competitors a chance to qualify for the prestigious National Eventing Championships it’s very simple

✅ classes at 70.80.90 or 100cm

Without our loyal and highly valued community of volunteers, we simply wouldn’t be able to run events, and it is for this reason that we are delighted to open nominations for the BE Volunteer of the Year Awards 2024. These awards, supported by the EHOA - The Event Horse Owners Association, recognise and reward the outstanding contribution that volunteers make to British Eventing.

The categories are;

🌟Volunteer of the Year
🌟Young Volunteer of the Year

Nominations will close on 20 February 2025, after which the winners will be announced and awards presented at Badminton Horse Trials 2025 early next season.

BE CEO, Rosie Williams, said; “Our sport’s volunteers are a key part of running British Eventing, and these awards not only celebrate their passion and dedication, but hopefully go some way to expressing our sincere gratitude for their hard work and commitment. We cannot thank our volunteers enough for all they do, and look forward to presenting these awards.”

It takes an army to organise a horse trials and a community of friends to make it feel fun and less like hard work!!

HUGE thank you to every single person who made this weekend happen. We can not do it without you. The feedback we’ve had already has been fantastic and that’s down to the entire team.

Massive thanks to all our sponsors for providing the little added extra touches from fantastic prizes (gilets, saddle clothes, fillers and our favourite- a bucket with £150 worth of socks for all the family!)

Massive thanks goes to our new sponsors Aspen Cooling Ltd who enabled us to provide increased prize money in every section, canapés and drinks for our volunteers as a thank you, delicious lunches and goodies and some fantastic new show jumps and cross country fences. We are thrilled to be able to give back to those who support our event both on and off the ground.

Finally, we are open for cross country schooling from tomorrow and throughout the winter. The team will start putting out more fences tomorrow although the courses will be left flagged for schooling this week.
