Friendly family run Riding School and livery yard set in beautiful Oxfordshire countryside.

We cater for all abilities from absolute beginner to the more experienced. Excellent facilities, including indoor and outdoor schools and grass gallops. We cater for all abilities from absolute beginner trying riding for the first time to experienced riders wanting to jump and hack out. Miles of lovely hacking (mostly off road) on well behaved responsive horses. Show jumping paddock with a good ra

nge of jumps onsite and 2 Cross country courses within hacking distance. We are Council licensed and Association of British Riding Schools Approved. Excellent facilities including indoor and outdoor schools, show jumping paddock (summer months) and grass gallops. In the holidays as well as our normal lessons/hacks we run Own a Pony Days and Mornings, Show Jumping clinics and Cross Country lessons (Cross country at Swalcliffe Park which is a 20 minute hack away).

Lessons;
💚 Tuesday 21st -
3pm, private 30 minute lesson.

💚 Thursday 23rd -
4pm, 45 minute intermediate group.
4:45pm, 30 minute beginner group.
5:15pm, 30 minute private lesson.
💚 Friday 24th -
3:30pm, 30 minute private lesson.
4pm, 45 minute intermediate group.
4:45pm, 30 minute beginner group.
5:15pm, 30 minute private lesson.

💚 Saturday 25th -
10:45am, 45 minute intermediate group
2:15pm, 45 minute experienced lesson

Hacks;
💚 Wednesday 22nd at 11:30am, 1 hour intermediate ability hack - mainly walking and trotting with a chance of a canter on our grass track at the end.

💚 Thursday 23rd at 10:30am, our 1.5hr hack going through all three paces and seeing some wonderful views!

💚 Friday 24th at 10:30am, 1 hour hack. Definitely the best way to end the week 🥰

💚 Sunday 26th at 10am, we head out for our Sunday funday hack of 2 hours! Intermediate plus and experienced riders as we do go through all paces and ride open file 💚

Happy Thursday! 🎉

Nearly the weekend and time to get back in the saddle, especially as it's not raining 🥳

We have spaces for;
💛 Friday 17th at 10:30am, 1 hour hack.
💛 Friday 17th at 4pm, group intermediate lesson for 45 minutes.
💛 Friday 17th at 4:45pm, beginner group lesson for 30 minutes.
💛 Saturday 18th at 10:45am, intermediate group lesson, for 45 minutes.
💛 Saturday 17th at 2:15, experienced 45 minute lesson.
💛 Sunday 18th at 2pm, our super 50/50 Novice Hack, so here we do a 30 minute lesson to get you comfortable and learning some new skills, followed by a lovely 30 minute off road hack around the farm!

Group lessons are a super way to make new riding buddies, build confidence and enjoy your evening!

💛 Sunday Funday! 💛

Every Sunday we do a fun hack, cross country outing, mystery hack or day ride.
Check out the fun in January 👇

💛 19th January 💛
💛 Intermediate ability hack, starting at 10:30am for
an hour.
💛 Novice 50/50, starting at 2pm. This is a 30 minute lesson, followed by a 30 minute off road hack around our grass track.

💛 26th January 💛
💛 2 hour experienced rider hack, leaving the yard at 10am. We are lucky to have good drainage hacking so providing it's not frozen we can all have a lovely canter and blow away those cobwebs!

💜 Tiny Tots 💜

For our little riders aged 2-4 years old.
We take it in turns to share rides on three of our wonderful ponies! Each child will ride three times, with a little trot if feeling comfortable.
Bad weather? Fear not we continue inside our indoor arena with heaters for viewers!

These are extremely popular, so please book early to avoid disappointment 💜

Suitable for ages 4+

Join us this Sunday 22nd December for a festive ride!

🎄Our 2 hour hack;
We leave the yard at 10am and return at 12pm.
Enjoying a pre Christmas ride, let those stresses blow away and take some time to yourself!

🎄 50/50 Novice ride at 2pm for an hour.
Suitable for ages 4+
We do a 30 minute lesson, then out onto our secure field for a hack.
Another great way to have that festive get together and plenty of photo opportunities for those memories!
You are most welcome to walk with children and enjoy the experience.

With it being so close to Christmas, of course festive attire is most welcome!!

We are open Sunday 22nd of December, then closed from Monday 23rd of December until Thursday 26th of December.

Friday 27th we have our ever popular own a pony morning, 10:30 -1pm and a host of private and group lessons.

Saturday 28th, lessons all day as normal.

Sunday 29th, 2 hour hack 10 - 12pm
Intermediate hack 2 - 3pm

We then close until the 2nd of January, back on the 3rd of January with more fun and games - check out our website for the whole list of fun before heading back to school and work!

🐎 Cross Country! 🐎 📖 Wednesday 7th August 🕜 10-1:30pm Join us for a fun filled, confidence building and a chance to perfect those skills experience! Oak Tree Farm Cross Country is a perfect distance hack from our yard giving you time to get used to your horse and warm up to crack on when we arrive. Don't want to jump but maybe watch a friend or come along for the ride - you can hack over with us on one of our wonderful horses!
