Turpins Lodge Riding School Friendly family run Riding School and livery yard set in beautiful Oxfordshire countryside.

We cater for all abilities from absolute beginner to the more experienced. Excellent facilities, including indoor and outdoor schools and grass gallops. We cater for all abilities from absolute beginner trying riding for the first time to experienced riders wanting to jump and hack out. Miles of lovely hacking (mostly off road) on well behaved responsive horses. Show jumping paddock with a good ra

nge of jumps onsite and 2 Cross country courses within hacking distance. We are Council licensed and Association of British Riding Schools Approved. Excellent facilities including indoor and outdoor schools, show jumping paddock (summer months) and grass gallops. In the holidays as well as our normal lessons/hacks we run Own a Pony Days and Mornings, Show Jumping clinics and Cross Country lessons (Cross country at Swalcliffe Park which is a 20 minute hack away).

We have hacks and lessons happening Tuesday to Friday for those wanting a quieter experience - the weekends get pretty busy!!

We are so lucky to have such a wonderful grass track that is completely off road, we often add it onto the end of a hack for an extra canter!

It's also perfect for those wanting to start hacking to build confidence out of the arena, plus it's great for those learning to canter out on hacks. It's also amazing for our smaller riders that don't want to do lessons!

A Redwings reunion for ❤️🐴

Redwings Rehoming Team members Lucy, Megan and Becky, with Redwings Vet Sarah, went on a very exciting trip to visit Cosmos, Homer, Jonsey and Joy in their new home at Turpins Lodge Riding School!

Lucy told us: "When we arrived you could tell how happy the horses were. None of the ponies were straightforward at the beginning of their training at Redwings, so it is nice to see them thriving in this environment!"

The team had a lovely outing with the ponies and are already planning their next visit! ❤️

🐎 Cross Country! 🐎 📖 Wednesday 7th August 🕜 10-1:30pm Join us for a fun filled, confidence building and a chance to perfect those skills experience! Oak Tree Farm Cross Country is a perfect distance hack from our yard giving you time to get used to your horse and warm up to crack on when we arrive. Don't want to jump but maybe watch a friend or come along for the ride - you can hack over with us on one of our wonderful horses! We also do Tiny Tots rides for 1-2.5 years and mini hacks for 2 plus.
