🐎 Hey there! We're super excited about our new 17mm stable matting and grass ring matting. They're going great! Oh, and guess what? The stable mats come with an impressive 24-month warranty. By the way, it's the perfect time to lay grass matting so the grass can grow through it and help with those soggy and muddy areas. 😃 🐎

There's always one who has their eyes closed in the photo 😂 These two gorgeous ladies were in today for their first harness fitting, after a few options the Ruffwear ones were the best fit, and great colours on them too! Winnie and Mabel are both rescues and haven't had harnesses before, these ones are super light so they wouldn't notice them too much 😊 We hope they enjoyed their first outing to Croft's 😃

Hey Ernie 👋 🐶 🥰 I'm not sure we've ever had a dog that poses this well 😆 As soon as the camera came out it was action stations on posing, I'm sure we may have caught a glimpse of a pout and a definite hip drop throughout the shots 😂 Ernie had a brand new colour of Ruffwear harness fitted, which looked great...but then, any harness would look great on this chap 😜

Hello wonderful customers! This is Freddie‘s mum, I have jumped on the social media page, don’t tell the husband!
I just wanted to put a very heartfelt thank you out to all your generosity when it comes to our little charity Freddie’s Future!
As I am sure a lot of you know, our very own Jonathan Stanley put his running shoes on yesterday, and absolutely smashed those 26.2 miles for our little Freddie!
The amount of work that goes into training is quite mind blowing, never mind the day itself, I am not even sure how he is standing this morning! But on top of that there’s the fundraising too, which John smashed with a whopping £3,312!! (Total 2024 marathon amount to be announced on our Freddie’s Future page later 🥁)
I know a lot of this came from your generosity, and I honestly can’t thank you all enough!
We were so proud to cheer John and the team on yesterday, and it was such a lovely moment when he came over to Freddie to give him a hug, and asked Freddie to push him for that final mile! Freddie adores John and his little face was a picture!! 🥰 Have a watch of the video I’ve posted on the comments of this post 🥲
I also want to just do a little shout out for another croft connection! If you are browsing the accessories at our shop and see the brand Doodlebone, the lovely Jazz from Doodlebone was also a Freddies future runner yesterday!
We are so lucky to have such huge support from some lovely people. Thank you all so much!!

Well, yesterday's bake sale was a roaring success! We do still have some left, don't worry 😂
However today we have a brilliant auction prize up for grabs, a signed copy of local legend and star of Clarkson's Farm Kaleb Cooper's book "The World according to Kaleb"!
A huge thank you to Kaleb and his family for arranging this, so today when you pop in you can enjoy cake and a chance to win!

And of course , the main reason Jon is running the marathon and we're raising money is for our little hero Freddie and for Bone Cancer Research Trust 🧡💙

It's here! Claire has been busy in the kitchen, Jon has been busy running, and we are ready for a wonderful Easter weekend cake sale, all for !

The cakes are already flying out here, so when you pop in make sure you either get yourself a tasty treat, or enter our raffle to win the amazing chocolate cake covered in mini eggs...what an Easter treat! 😍🍰 We'll be announcing the winner later today/early tomorrow as the cake will need to be collected Saturday afternoon as we are closed Sunday!

And let's not forget the reason Jon is wearing tights is all for Freddie, Bone Cancer Research Trust and getting as much funding as possible for the vital research they do 🧡💙

🍰Easter Weekend Bake Sale for Freddie!🐣

Yes that's right, our final push for Jon's marathon fundraising for is this Friday and Saturday, and of course it involves cakes made by our kitchen maestro Claire, and might involve Jon wearing his full running kit, too!

Our bake sale will be happening on Good Friday and Saturday as well, so when you're in the shop this Easter weekend you've got every excuse to treat yourself and help raise money for and the vital work they do as well! 🧡💙
