Arena uk - finals day
Not our best results today, I can’t fault how he jumped he just decided he couldn’t be bothered to pick his back feet up 🤷♀️
He may well be tired after jumping 6 rounds in total and hadn’t been back in work that long so for us to even get there was a miracle so I didn’t really have any expectations this week.
He definitely exceeded all expectations by jumping 6 wonderful rounds which he felt confident in every single round and had energy like his old self again which on its own makes me feel on cloud 9!
Hopefully we are on the up now although I say this everytime 🤞 we have no more issues and he continues to feel as good as he did this week.

Arena uk day 3 - 5am out and fed… out to the deserted Ireland 🤦♀️ why am I the first person out… erm… because I have a complicated little cookie that needs ulcer paste 1/2 hour before any feed to try and prevent them coming back 🤦♀️
I had finished jumping by 7.30am 😱
He jumped a lovely double clear again he did have to have a smack on the bum after backing off number 2 but then jumped really well.
They were super quick today but we ended up 16th/48 there was only 4 seconds between 1st and me, we just need to make the distances again with him feeling confident on longer take offs to make up a bit of time.
He has a well deserved day off tomorrow, then one more class sat before his finals on Sunday.
Arena uk day 2 - warm up Jerry was twisting a little over the upright so was a little worried we weren’t going to jump too well…
How wrong was I…
He only went and pulled out a lovely double clear, 6th place and prize money 🥰
2nd-6th place we were all on 35 seconds so it was sooo close!
He was buzzing today which makes me so happy, all this week was about was giving him some good confident rounds, we did pick up speed but we aren’t currently doing any silly turns as I don’t want it to knock him.
He’s all qualified for the finals so the rest of the week is all about him having fun and maybe we can push a little more in the jump off if he still feels ok 💪

Arena uk day 1 - today was just about trying to give Jerry some confidence after our awful rounds at Weston lawns last week.
Alarm went off at 5.10am I think I was the first out as it was like a desert island 🤣
We popped in the clear round to jump a lovely clear 👌
In the 90 I was 130th to go 🤣 the class took nearly 4 hours 🤦♀️ Jerry was jumping lovely and just clipped the last fence to still take 10th place with only 8 clears in his section and to qualify for the Grand Prix on Sunday 💪🙌🥰
Hopefully he will still feel ok for tomorrow 🤞🤞
And of course mr twix being king of the lorry!
