Well that's a wrap folks!

May I take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who helped make my dream a reality. Filthy Houndrels could not have flourished without you. Together we have laughed, cried, said goodbye to some of our most loved ones and also welcomed many new hearts too! Babies have arrived, kids have flown the nest, weddings, funerals, new homes and jobs. We've been through it all. I wouldn't change a moment. It's been an absolute pleasure getting to know you and your dogs.

I wish you health and happiness for the future and I miss you already 😭 💕 🐾

🐾 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT…..PLEASE READ TO END 🐾

I have some exciting but sad news. Some of you are aware that we were planning on looking for a new home this year and I am excited to say that we have found one. The sad news is that it’s not in the local area, we are moving to Morayshire! I couldn’t say anything until it was definite, so my sincere apologies to all of you, especially those of you who booked in recently.

The seller has requested an accelerated move in date and as such I am sad to have to say Filthy’s will be closed as of 17th July. All appointments on and after this date are now cancelled I’m afraid. Those who are booked in for late July, I will do my best to get you in before I close but cannot promise this, I will contact you ASAP to see if this is possible. I appreciate this is quite short notice and it was never the plan to put anyone this position.

To help with the transition I have spoken with Lauren at The Wee Dog Cabin - Dog Grooming at Dess (07939 263503), who is new to the area, and, she has kindly agreed to take on as many of you as she can. If you are keen to take up this opportunity I would suggest getting in touch with her straight away to try and get a date as close to your scheduled groom as possible. Also, if you have booked in advance, message her and book that date with her as if you leave it too long there’s a good chance it might not be available! Of course you can also contact any other groomer, I just wanted to offer a solution whilst potentially helping build up a fellow new wee business in the area. Whoever you go to, I am more than happy to give them/you the blades and grooming info in order to avoid confusion trying to describe the groom you like.

I am truly grateful for the support you have all shown me over the years. It has meant the world to me, you made my dream become a reality and I shall miss you all. We have shared laughter, tears, hello’s and goodbyes and I shall never forget a moment. It really is bittersweet writing this as I am excited to be about to set up a new home but also so very, very sad to be saying goodbye 💕🐾
