There's been lots of lovely new guests recently, who've slipped into staying here as if they've done it regularly 🥰

Spot the differences 😅
The two most matchey matchey pair belong to the same family and nearly always stay at the same time
But I do have to concentrate when I put them away after toilet breaks 😬

The other pair ( with the bone) stay separate from them anyway , so that saves any mistakes! 🥰

Thank you to everyone who commented and shared, its much appreciated

We're looking for a forever home for this young female German Shepherd. I've got the permission from the family to find her a suitable family.
She's nearly two years old and small for her breed. She has some anxiety, which is quite normal with GSDs these days. But she's great with kids of all ages and gets along well with other dogs (and adults, after a proper introduction).
About a year ago, her family asked for my help with some behavioural issues because she was reactive towards strangers who came into the house, on walks, or in the car. With consistent training by them, she drastically improved, and they enjoyed off-lead walks.
Sadly, changes after Christmas meant she has had to be left alone at home for long periods. This made her separation anxiety worse, leading to more reactivity due to being in a constant state of high arousal, with high cortisol and adrenaline levels.
Although we tried to rehome her through a breed-specific rescue organisation they're swamped and have strict criteria, so nothing has come of it.
Recently, while the older children were home alone with her, Missy reacted to a visitor by jumping up, barking, and pinning them against the wall without biting—just typical GSD behaviour. This has worried the family and increased the urgency of finding her a better home.
She would do best in a place where the family or person is around a lot. She gets along with other dogs, and having another canine buddy might help her cope with being alone.
If you think she would fit into your home, please get in touch. While I'm based in Aberdeenshire, she can be rehomed elsewhere, and I'm happy to meet potential adopters after doing the necessary checks. I'll also be heading to the West Country next month, which could help with the arrangements.
Cheers, Jo
