Cracking little Russell x Spaniel looking for a forever home.
Hes 18 months old ( or just under) . Hes got a super temperament, great with children, other dogs and cats. OK off lead, but obviously a work in progress, due to his age.
His family have young children and as he's a busy and clever little chap they arent giving him what he needs. A tough decision for them.
Would be great for someone with older children or outdoors type people.
Very loving and people orientated.

Hi Folks,

If all goes well, the handover of Lumphanan Pet Hotel is likely to happen on 5th Decemberr. Don’t worry though, there won’t be any break in service! Martin will still be here during the day, and either I or the new owners will be around overnight to make sure your dogs are looked after just like always.

I can’t thank you enough for trusting me with your dogs over the years. I’ve got so many funny, happy (and a few sad) memories of all the dogs who’ve stayed with us, along with their lovely owners. And of course, I’ve been lucky to work with some fantastic people in our team too.
To celebrate everything we’ve shared (and what’s ahead), I’ll be at The Boat Inn in Aboyne on Saturday 15th November from 6pm for some drinks. I’d love it if you could pop by and say hello—though I totally get it if you’re busy and can’t make it!

If you fancy dropping into the Pet Hotel before I go, you’re more than welcome. I’m around most afternoons and will be happy to stop for a coffee and a chat!

And if I don’t see you before I leave, I hope to be back in the area after Christmas, doing training and behavioural work—so this isn’t really goodbye.

Thanks again for all your support and friendship. It’s been amazing.

Hi Folks, a quick update to keep you informed about some developments at Lumphanan Pet Hotel.

We are in negotiations with a family who are keen to purchase Lumphanan Pet Hotel (and the house).

Regardless of the outcome, I want to assure you that the kennels will continue to operate as usual, and all existing bookings will be fully honoured. There will be no interruption to the high standard of care we provide for your dogs. Martin will also be staying on, ensuring continuity and the familiar faces your pets know and trust.

I am committed to keeping you updated on any further progress and will share more information as soon as I can.

Had a lot of requests for these, so a few workshops coming up - see the blurb in the origional post

Hi Folks,
I've been very busy here, with summer 'stuff' as well as having my gorgeous grandsons to stay for a month. So if you have been wondering why not much was happening with group sessions, thats your answer!! (Still super busy with 1-to-1 stuff though)

Anyhow, there are a few group workshops lined up;

Recall & Impulse Control. Bellfield Park, Banchory. Saturday, October 4th 9.30am

Maximum of 6 dogs, as always. Suitable for overexcitable dogs, as we take each one out of the vehicle and train them individually.

For those in the Inverurie area.
I can highly recommend Toni for anyone with more complicated dogs, especially those that can't go in group walks.
Toni is experienced with all types of animals, especially dogs, and has been working with dogs, including dog walking, for more than 10 years.

Her bio;

I have a lot of experience working with animals, and dogs in particular. I grew up on a rural estate and worked as a kennel assistant, training and taking care of the working dogs. We also kept and trained our own high energy working dogs as well as several other breeds. I have experience of working with dogs of various ages, from puppies to older dogs.

I am fully insured and have recognised qualifications in canine behaviour, as well as first aid and CPR (I always carry a first aid kit on walks). I also have a Disclosure Scotland certificate.

Looking for a loving home, due to relationship breakdown-
Sweet but timid 5 year old collie, . Currently lives with other dogs & cats, has done some sheep work but has confidence issues & doesn’t get close to the sheep. She is a house dog but is happy to stay in a kennel too. She is a lovely dog who needs someone who has time & patience. She's is very obedient and doesn't stray far.
She has fear based aggression towards other dogs & humans she doesn’t know, but will avoid interactions. Once she trusts someone she is the sweetest & most loyal dog. Ideally suited to quiet, adult home only.

Julia comes to help walk dogs here at the Pet Hotel every other weekend and I have had fabulous photos taken of our family dogs. (One of which is hanging in the kennel building)
Shes not only a fab photographer, but understands dogs and handling them, so can get the best out of your dog, even if they arent a 'sit and pose' type 🥰 And, of course, she knows most of the dogs that stay with us already!
