My first time meeting Hetty for her handstrip. I'd never handstripped a Wirehaired Pointer before and have been very excited!😅 Although handstripping is quite hard work and hard on the hands and wrists, I find it very satisfying to do.
It's well worth it, though, as regular handstripping can promote a thicker, healthier coat and makes those colours really pop too. Looking gorgeous Hetty, hope you enjoyed the audio book as much as I enjoyed the groom 😂😍

These little guys have been regulars for a long time. I remember Teddy when he was just a tiny baby, before I went on maternity 😱 He's even followed me to a different salon and enjoys people watching while being groomed 😂
Buddy is an angel on the table and stands like he was born for it haha He's recently had a new little fluffy sister that I can't wait to meet too! 😊

Just had to post a few from Buddy's after-groom photoshoot 😂 It was his first time in the salon and having a big boy cut too 😱 He did super well and took everything in his stride! So important to get puppies used to grooming from a young age. I'd hate for a dog to have to endure something they hate every 6-8 weeks for their whole lives 🥺
We offer puppy grooms as soon as your pup is fully vaccinated and recommend starting with those a couple of times before they need a full haircut so they can be introduced slowly and positively to the grooming experience 🥰

Mac, Tess and Teddy are all regular customers now and although there are bits and pieces they aren't fond of, they have all learned not to fear grooming😘 A couple of oldies here too and it's so important to make grooming comfortable for them, we all know things get a bit more achey as we get older and I like to make sure they are as comfortable as possible. Sometimes, we get to a point where the groom is simply to keep them comfortable, regardless of what it looks like, but we aren't there yet with these guys as they're still great for grooming 😁😍

We have Teddy, Bailey and Doti from Wednesday here. I've known Teddy for a long time now and he's come such a long way since his first groom with me 🥰
My first time meeting Bailey and Doti and they were both such a pleasure. Doti was nervous at first but soon came around and realised she liked the extra attention! ❤️
