We know that your dog is an important member of your family - that is why we started Mutt Hutt to offer a safe, fun and friendly space for your dog to play, socialise and relax while you are at work. We offer day care services within our Hutt - we have an indoor play area, comfy rest space as well as exclusive and secure outdoor exercise area for a bit of fresh air and plenty of space to chase a ball! Our Staff are Canine First Aid trained and fully insured.

I think most people know we lost our Gilly at the start of the week under tragic circumstances, it’s only really hitting me at the moment and I’ve had to take a few days off work. Shannon as always has stepped up to keep things running however she has been doing extra hours and needs a break as well. She will be off tomorrow which means I will be on my own and as such will have to cancel the pick ups and drop offs I’m so sorry for any inconvenience caused xx

Charity day update!

Wow guys just another absolutely unbelievable fundraiser you have achieved. I honestly can't believe it we've raised £2317 for 2 amazing charities they will be over the moon with this ❤️❤️❤️

It was somewhat of a bitter sweet day we knew we were raising a phenomenal amount of money through the quiz and raffle but heartbreakingly as we got ready yesterday morning to go to set up we had the dogs out to the field for a good run as we knew we would be out for a while. Returning home as we went to take Gilly our greyhound out of the van he collapsed and started seizuring. We can't thank our vet James Buick ACE Vets NI enough, the best vet and guy in the world who came to the clinic on his Sunday morning from home to open up and see to Gilly. Unfortunately there was nothing he could do but assure us he went quickly and peacefully most likely of a heart attack.

We are obviously devastated but want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for just turning up yesterday, donating so much in money and prizes and for all your kind words of condolences.

Gilly came to us at 3 years old from Almost Home Animal Rescue NI at the end of his racing career, having never been inside a house before the day we brought him home I remember him standing stock still for 2 hrs in the kitchen before walking over to the door and p*eing a greyhound sized p*e!!! After that the bed and sofa were quickly discovered and he never looked back. Such a gentle giant he was forever having the little ones crawl over him or steal his treats it never fazed him he was just the quietest unassuming pup who melted a thousand hearts with those eyes.
His favourite place by far was by tegans side, although he spent most nights sleeping on our bedroom floor in her final few weeks it wasn't unusual to go downstairs in the morning and find him lying up beside her, we can only believe he's with her now relaxing on a comfortable cloud waiting for us 🌈

So yesterday was in honour of them and all the other unwanted little souls who are lucky enough to find a place of love and care in rescues like Almost Home and Friends Of Rescue until they find their families.

We miss you big boy thank you for being our friend 🧡

I cannot find anyway to display how great my gratitude is for having Shannon, Dani, Sarah, Liam, Brendy and my amazing husband Keith there to pick up the pieces yesterday as I was as good as useless the day just wouldn't have happened without you ❤️ 💔 ♥️

Finally I think this is the full list of prizes that can be won at our charity fundraiser this Sunday!!

If you unfortunately missed out on a ticket to the quiz you can still get raffle tickets from us until Friday. If you will not be attending please make sure I have an up to date phone number for you and have your phone with you from around 2pm as we'll be pulling the raffle between quiz rounds, if we cannot get in touch with you I'm afraid we will have to reserve what we consider to be the highest value prize available and move on.

Raffle tickets will also be on sale on the day for anyone joining us 🥰

The bar is open to the public so you are welcome to call in and see us even if you aren't playing the quiz, though the inside tables and chairs are reserved for those playing they have a great beer garden to the back 😀....with heaters 🙄

We will be finished up by no later than 4pm as there is a trad band on after us so feel free to stay and enjoy that as well!!!

Doors open at 1230pm and the quiz starts at 130pm sharp!!
