🌟. Does your dog get travel sick/anxious? 🌟

🌟Reiki can help 🌟

I start by giving a Reiki treatment in an environment they feel comfortable in, like their own bed / living room.

Second treatment I give the Reiki treatment in the car while it’s stationary.

We will continue like this with weekly treatments until the dog is happy and relaxed in the stationary car, and once that happens we’ll move on to short journeys, which we’ll build up.

These are my three girls, Lumi (cat) has only been with us since February and when she first arrived I thought ‘What have I done?’ More than once. (Many, many times!!!)

The dogs and cat hated each other, I’m talking scratching, hissing, chasing, barking, every single time they saw each other; it was hell!

But look at them now, I’m now very happy we rescued her and brought her home.

I’m very excited to be starting my journey into the world of Zoopharmacognosy, which involves offering animals herbs and essential oils that are safe for them to self select.

Animals are very intuitive and know what they need, and I think herbs and oils will work really well alongside Reiki, to clear blocked energies and soothe any ailments.

My beautiful Megs is struggling at the moment, at almost 12 I think all the days of running through woods and across fields are catching up with her.

I’ll be giving her regular reiki treatments for a while to help her as best I can.

🐈‍⬛ Cat stress relief 🐈‍⬛

Jynx experienced some trauma a few days ago and as I began treatment last night, I’ve never seen a cat so eager to accept reiki energy.

Animals just know what they need, as you can see here as Jynx positioned himself close to the Rose Quartz crystal, which aids in emotional blockages and promotes self love and comfort.

If you have a cat suffering with stress I also thoroughly recommend using a catnip spray, it really soothes and calms.

🐈‍⬛ Cats love Reiki 🐈‍⬛

The majestic Jynx is having some anxiety and unease around strangers and some hierarchy issues with his cat brothers, he’s also over grooming.

This is his third session and he’s loving the Reiki and his human says it seems to be really helping with his issues.

Cats also love the healing energies of crystals, Jynx sought out this Citrine crystal in our session yesterday.

💚 Heart Chakra 💚

A healthy, open heart chakra will allow the animal to be comfortable giving and accepting affection.

The ‘happy go lucky’ animal is a prime example of an heart chakra in an optimal state.

The element of the heart chakra is air and as with the inhale / exhale of breath, a balanced heart chakra gives out and takes in love freely.

When the heart chakra is closed / blocked an animal may be nervous, reluctant to accept or give affection. They may be somewhat ‘shutdown’ and unwilling to interact. It can also cause physical symptoms such as lung and heart issues.

Travel anxious Paddy responds really well to the energy of crystals during his Reiki sessions.

Today he had a 30 minute hands on treatment in the car, followed by a 20 minute Distance Reiki session while his owners took him out in the car without me there.

Amazing results! So proud of him!

Governs…

Physical: Spleen, liver, gall bladder, stomach, pancreas.

Emotional: Self esteem, strength of will.

BALANCED:

The animal will be confident in themselves, play well with others so to speak, and be willing and eager to interact with their owner/other humans.

UNBALANCED:

Aggression, dominating behaviours, lack of self control - stealing food, anxious, fearful, sluggish.

Location: lower abdomen

Colour: Orange

Governs…
Physical: stomach, intestines, bladder, lower back.
Emotions: Anxiety, creativity, affection.

BALANCED

The animal will express themselves appropriately, without becoming too overly emotional or frantic.

UNBALANCED

Animal may have separation anxiety, become obsessive over things, emotions can be either heightened too much or lacking, making the animal withdrawn and shutdown. Symptoms of physical issues may develop in the above areas.

Today we will start with the…

ROOT CHAKRA (MULADHARA)

Location: Base of the spine

Colour: Red

Governs…

Physical: lower abdominal organs and functions, hips,knees, lower back, pelvis.

Emotional/mental: security, ease of being, vitality, flexibility, generosity, trusting, being stable and grounded.

When the Root Chakra is BALANCED your animal is more likely to be easy going, secure in the fact they are safe and all is well despite what the day may bring.

When there is an IMBALANCE or blockage in the Root Chakra your animal may exhibit some of these behaviours:

-Separation anxiety

-Needing rigid boundaries

-Eating too fast / food aggression

-Restlessness / pacing

-Low energy

-Generally unsettled

-Nervous

-Health issues around the physical aspects of the chakra as mentioned above.

Reiki can help to fill the chakra with healing energy to unblock, balance and stabilise the Root Chakra.

🌟 Does your pet suffer with travel sickness / anxiety around the car? 🌟

Yesterday I saw the wonderful Paddy for his 5th Reiki treatment to ease his travel anxiety, which has consisted of sickness, heavy drooling, and shaking.

Today was a big day! After a 10 minute stationary treatment in the car, his owners hopped in and we drove for around 15/20 minutes as I let the Reiki energy continue to soothe Paddy and he experienced none of the above issues! He was very relaxed lying across my knee!

So so happy! Now to wean him off me being there and the world is his oyster!
