So proud of Jasper, he’s starting to make some serious progress with his lead walking. He’s slowly but surely moving from pulling like a train to walking along nicely, taking in the sights and smells 🥰🐾
One of the easiest enrichment ideas! Throwing treats down allows your dog to sniff and forage which stimulates natural behaviours - this calms dogs minds and helps them to feel content. This is fab for focusing busy puppy brains before training. This simple exercise also builds confidence by encouraging dogs to explore new textures and ground surfaces. Darla here was next to a very busy, loud road and she was very happy and content snuffling for treats whilst taking in the sounds around her. Dog enrichment doesn’t have to mean buying expensive licki mats or long lasting chews - simple, cheap activities can be just as effective!
A huge amount of progress made by Jasper, he’s usually a big puller but his training sessions are starting to change that around. For such a nervous rescue boy with a pretty horrendous start to life he’s doing brilliantly 🥰🐾
Some lovely enrichment for Darla! During our walk she seemed quite unfocused so I took a few minutes to recentre her by hiding treats in the leaves and allowing her to find them. Lovely opportunity for her to engage in natural behaviours and calm her mind 🥰🐾
Chester had a fabulous walk this morning! We’re working on his engagement and manners on walks and today he did a brilliant job sitting and waiting - not an easy feat for a busy Spaniel brain! Well done beautiful boy 🥰🐾

It’s hard to believe that Slash used to hate walks and would pull his owners here, there and everywhere! With patience and lots of praise he is like a different dog and walks like a dream 😍🐾
This Poodle can! Another Wednesday walk with Slash this morning and another huge milestone achieved. On top of doing amazingly well with his group walks he has now shown how amazing he is off-lead. Today he got to have a taste of freedom and he behaved impeccably.. very proud of this boy 🥰🐾
