Urgent rehome needed 🙏 please share

We’ve been advertising this lad for 5 months and not one application that would agree to progress after hearing that Charlie is reactive towards other dogs

He’s never attacked, never bitten, absolutely adores people - he just barks and lunges at other dogs. Totally fixable with training and time.

Unless there is someone who lives in an area that isn’t too dog populated, and has the time to work on this boys socialisation that hasn’t contacted us yet - we will have no option but to tell the owner that regretfully we, like all the other rescues she’s tried, are not able to help him. First one we’ve failed to find a suitable home for (and we’ve had far worse come to us) and I’m absolutely gutted

The owner’s house is sold, we have no more time, and we don’t have the funds to put him in residential training or kennels for the next couple of months 😢😢😢

🐾 A lovely catch up walk with Jacqui and gorgeous Zeph and Alfie this week, Ellie and Lily always enjoy their woodland walks with these two characters! There's nothing like the woods for a stimulating dog walk! Some tired dogs going home! 🐾

OUR FIRST FUDGE RAISER

You may recall that recently we rehomed Fudge, a gorgeous four-year-old Golden who suffers from epilepsy and we pledged to raise much-needed funds with a series of ‘Fudge-Raisers’, to pay for his ongoing medical needs. A big thanks to the Breed Clubs who have started us off, your support is amazing.

By way of an update, Fudge has already had two prolonged seizures in his new home and without going into too much detail, it was a stressful experience for Fudge, Helen and her family, who have lots of experience of caring for dogs with epilepsy, but had not experienced prolonged seizures of this kind before.

They have renewed their pledge to secure the best possible medical support for Fudge . In turn, we are committed to raising funds to help them, to ensure that Fudge has the best possible quality of life and that his seizures are managed as effectively as possible.

So…we’re proud to announce our very first ‘Fudge-Raiser’ and we hope as many of you as possible can help us.

As the photos show, we’re inviting you to donate £5 to the ‘Fudge-Fund’, or whichever amount you wish, to help pay for Fudge’s care. Please just comment on our post and we will send you our bank details.

As a not-for-profit charity, we guarantee that every penny we raise will go into the Fudge Fund and if we raise more than we need, the additional funds will be used to support the many other Goldens we rehome which need our ongoing support.

🐾 Richmond racecourse, just fabulous for walking the dogs, so much space for them to run and play together, great parking, p**p bins and lots of very considerate dog walkers with dog walking etiquette in mind!
