Pet and Livestock Services (PaLS) Specializing in House & Pet-Sitting (in Homes, Small-Holdings, Farms) to give owners a break - whether its a night, weekend or a full week away (or longer). I mainly do dog walking during the day, as well as fitting in pet visits - such as feeding cats or letting dogs out in the garden etc.. Other jobs required such as horse work or livestock work I can do early on a morning or /and early on an evening to fit around my regular dog walking jobs. I also do relief milking!
I am a mature (50 something) friendly, competent and reliable person, who has had years of experience working with various animals such as cats, dogs, alpacas, geese, horses, cows, sheep, pigs and chickens - being a farmer's daughter from near Barnard Castle. I worked for ‘Animate Animal Minding’ for two and a half years after I left Harper Adams University in 2012. I decided to set up my own business - ‘Susan E. Wilkinson - Pet and Livestock Services (PaLS)’ in November 2015.
In July 2019 we achieved a 4* Dog Boarding Licence with our ‘Brydale Lodge’ Luxury Dog Boarding Kennel - which can house up to two* dogs from the same family. (*we are hoping to be able to offer ‘Brydale’ for up to three dogs this year (2020) as we have added another ‘bedroom’ area since the Inspector came last time...hence we need to get him back again after the Covid restrictions are lifted.)
I've also worked with various injured wildlife such as hedgehogs, various types of birds inc. swans and birds of prey (whilst on my placement year at Harper Adams University) at RSPCA Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre and Rehoming Cattery (near Nantwich) during 2009 - 2010.
