For 16 years, Defib the cat has been a beloved resident at Walthamstow ambulance station. Now, due to changes in local management at London Ambulance Service, he faces eviction. Rescued as a kitten by the staff, he's been a constant companion ever since. Staff are calling this decision an unnecessary act of cruelty, especially given his age and the growing acceptance of therapy animals in workplaces. Theyโ€™re asking for support to allow Defib to live out his final years in the place heโ€™s always known and loved.

Broadlands Cattery is a top 5* rated Cattery situated in acres of rolling Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside. Founded in 2002 and run by Jill & David Williams, assisted by Maggie Healey our lovely Cattery Assistant, we have been awarded the highest 5 star rating by the Local Council in recognition of the fabulous facilities, care and Management here.

We are still the holders of thepet.net's favourite Cattery in the Country as voted for by our customers. Broadlands Cattery is a Feline Advisory Bureau designed and run Cattery and is situated between Caistor and Brigg and near to Humberside Airport. We pride ourselves as being professional and caring people and receive most booking as recommendations and regular boarders and are now the holders of an elusive 5* rating from the Council on Quality Catteries.

Our full height chalets are spacious, scrupulously clean and welcoming for discerning Cats. There are Webcams in many chalets and the kindest and we offer caring love for your cats during their stay. We also accept other small animals and birds.

All of us are trained to give diabetic injections and work closely with local vets when cats need extra care and medication.
