With only 6 price increases in 16 years of trading & the ever increasing running costs, I have had to review your rates.

This increase will ensure that we are able to continue providing the service you have come to expect from Barnetby Boarding Kennels.
We appreciate your continued support & custom over the years & hope this continues.

Please note these prices are per day- 24 hour period .... for example - morning drop off and afternoon pick up is 2 days as the kennel is in use until you collect, you will be required to pay for the full duration you have booked your dog in for.
Drop off times & collections will be pre arranged, as this ensures smooth changeover between dogs.

You can buy a day care credit pack to use against your day care bookings.
Credits are sold in a pack of 10, for the price of 9 (10% discount).
These can be paid for in cash or via payment link.

As a small business we prefer cash payments so as to avoid card transaction fees.

The following rates will apply-

1 dog in a kennel £16
2 dogs sharing £28

DAY CARE £16

Other amounts please ask.

£20 deposit on booking.

Christmas Day & NYE prices differ please enquire.

Meet Sarah.

Shes dog obsessed, & loves walking & interacting with the dogs. 🐾🐾 owners sometimes get us mixed up. 🤦🏼‍♀️ 👯‍♀️

Ella - is animal obsessed, always has been.
Ella started helping me walk the dogs from the age of about 7, ( possibly younger ) she would spend hours cuddling them, & a natural progression into weekend work. If anyone needs a dog pic, I think Ella’s phone is full of them! 🐾🐾

I am looking for an additional enthusiastic weekend kennel assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with dogs.
This is a physically demanding role working in all weathers where your main roles & responsibilities will include:
• Feeding, washing, and maintaining the cleanliness of kennels and play areas.
• Engaging in playtime activities, such as WALKS, fetch, and interactive games.
• Administering medications, as instructed by the owner or veterinarian.
• Welfare is paramount, Ensuring the health & well-being of all dogs in your care
• Communicating with members of the public for drop off/collections of their pets.
• Be competent in completing daily paperwork.
• Providing exceptional care and attention to our furry guests in a safe and nurturing environment.

Experience and skills required:
Previous experience with dogs, all applicants should be competent handling a wide range of breeds.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly approachable manner
• Ability to problem solve
• A candidate who can use Initiative & be willing to have a hands-on approach
• Proactivity and enthusiasm
• Genuine love for dogs, and a strong understanding of their behaviour
• Ability to handle dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
This is a position which will include weekend work, early mornings & bank holidays, sometimes to work alongside other staff members.
We are looking for the potential candidate to start in the Spring.
