URGENT APPEAL 🐈🐈‍⬛🐾
We are currently in the process of trapping a number of pregnant ferals and are in desperate need of large or XL dog crates so we can provide a safe space for them to give birth.

If you have a spare crate you could donate we would be so grateful. If you can help please contact us for a drop off point or if you are local we could arrange collection.

This little lady was born on a building site sadly her mum was involved in an RTA and she was left to fend for herself from a tiny baby. For months we have been working with locals and some members of the site to get her safe. She finally gave herself up this week and just in time too with all this bad weather. Carrot as she is now known is safe, warm and enjoying her first couple of days in foster with us at Buttons Cat Rescue

Our trapping team have been rather busy recently, we are helping at various sites across Barnsley. Our latest rescue was these gorgeous little fluffballs and their mum. All safely in foster and the kittens are ready for adoption. Visit our group for updates Buttons Cat Rescue Community

For the past few days the members of our team who arent currently poorly have been monitoring a site where very young kittens have been seen. A plan is currently being formulated to rescue these lil ones and bring them straight into foster.

We spend hours every week at various sites, helping rescue cats and kittens in need. Sometimes our mission is complete within hours, sometimes it takes days and occasionally it can take weeks or even months.

We prep for all eventualities and all seasons where possible but sometimes we need extra equipment and supplies, dependent on location, area, terrain etc

So last night a member of the team attended a search and rescue for a number of young kittens that have been dumped. The finder caught one and with our help caught another last night, there are at least 2 more to locate and capture. The area they are in is dangerous and we need to act fast so we will be there today to make sure all kittens are caught safely.

One of our more challenging rescues. This mama and her 3 babies were living in a disused garage/conservatory, as you can see they did not make it easy for us. Please to say after 4 days we successfully caught mum and all her babies. All happily now in foster and safe. 💜🐾

Betty, Bob and Beanie were found living under the decking in someones garden. 2 days of observing and formulating a plan of action from the Buttons Cat Rescue team led to all 3 babies safely caught and moved into foster. 💜🐾

We were recently asked by another rescue if we could help trap a potential feral mum and 4 kittens on an allotments. Two days of patience, blood, sweat and tears...mum and four babies safely caught and off into foster 💜🐾
