NEWBIE ALERT!!!! Last week we had the privilege of accommodating three first-time visitors. Ruby, Luna and Max were absolutely awesome and, although each is a vastly different character from their 'siblings', they are each equally united in the crime of stealing our hearts!!!

I sincerely hope they enjoyed their stay as much as we did and we can't wait for their return! Thanks, guys. ###

The force of nature that is Beano popped in for an overnighter a couple of days ago. I took some great photos of him (he's very photogenic, you know!!!) but the one here was captured in haste by the rather poor camera on my Macbook. However, it is the subject matter that counts here. Beano came for a cuddle and as his hooman parents will testify, he gives AWESOME cuddles!!! We can't wait to see you again, Beanybobbles! xx

...and the last 'revolving door' boarder for while...BERTIE!!!! Yes, his Lordship has been back to remind me what music I should be listening to and about the importance of sharing biscuits with your friends. As ever, his company has been a gift and, despite the miserable weather last week, we had some lovely walks.

More from the revolving door.....our buddies, Archie, Benji and Charlie returned for a stay last week. Archie got his prime spot next to Uncle Phil on the sofa, Benji got several games of fetch with the Frisbee and Charlie curled up with Aunty Fran. We can't wait to see you guys again. xx

I've installed a revolving door for this fella!!! Yes, Bertie was back last week and as fab as ever. However, he refused to chat 'music' with me as he saw that I'd bought Taylor Swift's new album. He's made it clear that I need to 'up my game'. I offered him a biscuit to which he said, 'I will on this occasion accept your biscuity apology but next time, I don't want to see your dalliances with mainstream pop........can I have another?'

Last week, we had the pleasure, nay, privilege of looking after our trio of regulars, Archie, Benji and Charlie. All three were as awesome as usual and Benji, in particular, enjoyed playing fetch with the frisbee in the back garden. All three dogs were astounded that I managed to avoid putting our neighbour's window through what with my acute sporting abilities and cat-like reflexes.

Anyway, thank you guys (colloquially speaking as Charlie is a lady) and we can't wait until your next visit!

What were you up to last week? We were entertaining the awesome Max. He became my shadow for the week and gave some of the best hugs (in return for tummy rubs, of course!!!). This was Max's second stay and we hope we'll see him again very soon. x

***WE HAVE NEWS***

After our first two years of business, we have now been awarded a 5-star rating from Barnsley Council, effective from June 1st. As visitors to our website will know, all new boarding businesses can only achieve 4-stars for their initial 2 years.

I can't begin to describe how proud I am. Thank you to all our clients who put so much trust in us. We NEVER take that trust for granted and intend to continue living up to the 5-star service that we've been awarded. Also thank you to each and EVERY dog who stays with us - they all take a little bit of our hearts with them when they go home. xx

We've had a lovely week at Paw Power HQ with the return of our little mate, Sam. He's been chilled when we had to do a bit of work, full of energy when playing fetch and loves getting out to stretch his legs. Sam lives local to us so we get the opportunity to say hello to him when he's not staying with us. We still miss him when he goes home though!!! Thanks for another great week, Sam. x

I love all the dogs that stay with us and there are no exceptions. I was fighting back tears when your Mum and Dad came to collect you but I was so happy at your excitement to see them. An absolute star and so well behaved. Until next time, buddy. x

I have two lots of boarders to tell you about from last week. I'll do separate posts about each. First we had newbies Trixie and Casper stay for a trial night. They settled with flying colours!!! It was an absolute pleasure having them stay with us and we can't wait until they return.

January has just been awesome. Following Archie, Benji and Charlie's stay, we had a short visit from Bertie which is always a treat and a return visit from Maggie the very 'kissy' staffie who was equally fab. It might sound like my catchphrase but it is sincere EVERY time I say it: we can't wait to see them again.
