Evening All, just been watching the weather and things are still not looking good on side roads and areas that we would do group walks. This is really no good for us as we aren’t earning any money however we do have to think about the safety of the dogs, ourselves and vehicles, as most of you are aware the other Sue had an accident this morning whilst clearing her car ready to go out and resulted in a dislocated shoulder and fracture. She’s now not able to work and will be off for several weeks. Whilst we are desperate to get back to work we are having to relay on weather warnings which are giving this weather for the rest of the week. We will assess things day by day , but we may not even be able to offer home visits due to the icy conditions as possibility of damaging the van and ourselves slipping. It’s not ideal but we have to consider our safety. We fully appreciate your support at this time

Morning everyone.

Really sorry but we are going to have to cancel walks today.

The BBC weather app is giving snow until 11am . We have been into the local park and it’s very slippy out. We are aware that the main roads are drivable but our concerns are the side roads and staying on feet with a group of dogs. We therefore feel for everyone’s safety walks need to be cancelled.

Looking at the weather normal service will resume from Tuesday

Morning All
Sure you have all woken up to the pretty white stuff. We are going to monitor the weather throughout the day and we will make a decision later on about whether or not we are starting walks back tomorrow. If anyone knows they are going to be in tomorrow can you let us know and we can cancel your walks in the first instance. We are concerned if the snow does start to melt the amount of black ice that may be around. It’s not ideal the first day back after the Christmas break but safety needs to come first.
