August saw a meet & greet with Nellie 🐶 & Maisy 🐶 welcome to the 👵 tribe. We provided day & night care for Odin 🐶, Keith 🐶 Sasha & Gemma 🐶🐶 & Toby 🐶, we have had our regular daily & weekly drop-ins & walks with our regulars … we had our first enquiry about taking a senior out for a stroll in our stroller (I’ll keep you updated on this one) … & we received & answered lots of new enquires

Day sits are great for pets requiring social interaction while their human family are out. Day Sits include: 1:1 enrichment, playtime & 1 x 30 minute walk with lots of Nanny kisses & cuddles.

Drop-Ins are ideal for feeding, watering, toilet breaks, giving medication & playtime with lots of Nanny kisses & cuddles.

Over-night sits allows pets to remain in their own cozy, familiar environment, surrounded by their belongings, maintaining their usual routine & reduces the stress of being away from their human family. Over-night Sits include: 1:1 enrichment, playtime & 1 x 30 minute walk & lots of Nanny kisses & cuddles.

Walks: I offer walks that fit your dogs needs & fitness, your budget & of course Nanny kisses & cuddles are included.

the Pet Nanny can now offer walks to senior, injured or recovering furries … in our extra large 🐶 stroller. Maximum weight 60kg.

A pet stroller can be a good option for a variety of reasons, including:

Safety
Strollers can be safer for dogs who are recovering from injuries, have disabilities, or are anxious. They can also protect their paws from hot surfaces, glass, and other hazards.

Comfort
Strollers can help tired dogs continue walks, and allow older dogs to walk and rest while still participating in family activities.

Mental stimulation
Strollers can help dogs enjoy fresh air and mental stimulation when walks aren't possible.

June saw a meet & greet with Keith, a kind & gentle frenchie, a meet & greet with Daisy Duke & Burt Reynolds (2 adorable little Chihuahuas) 🤣 an overnight sit with Ollie following his best man duties whilst his Daddy & Mummy partied late into the night to celebrate their marriage, our regular daily & weekly drop-ins, sits & walks, lots of new enquiries …. Ooooohhhh & not forgetting my first dog bite 😢 & I got to wear my favourite sunnies 🤣

Unfortunately, I have had to make changes to my cancellation policy, I will send out a DM to
explain the changes … the changes will start on the 1st of August … thank you to the ones I have spoken to already for your understanding 🥰

My 2025 diary will be open from Monday 1st July 2024 due to the high volume of enquires I am receiving

☀️ 🎶☀️The heat is on … ☀️🎶☀️

💛 Very Important Advice from the Grumble ..

💛 Us short-nosed breeds are more prone to danger from heat exhaustion and we are keeping cool! 😎

💛 If you suspect your dog has heat stroke:

💛Do💛
📞 call your vets immediately.
💦 Put your dog in cool water, but NOT ice cold as this can make their temperature increase if it is too cold or send them into shock.
⚡️ Please use a fan.
You can let them lay on a cool wet towel or cooling mat.
💧 Do give them cool fresh water.

💛DON’T💛
⚠️ Do not cover their body with a wet towel, this will trap the heat in.
⚠️ There has been a recent post being shared across social media regarding giving animals lemon juice/water, we do not recommend this.
⚠️ Do not put anything down your dog’s throat - they may aspirate this causing aspirational pneumonia.

Prevention:
✅ DO NOT walk your pets.
✅ Provide fresh cool water.
✅ Provide shaded areas, but better still keep indoors, blinds closed, fans on.
✅ Provide a cooling mat
✅ Provide a pool to cool their paws.
✅ Provide a fan.
