On Tuesday night my mum and dad was at the sanctuary and when feeding Sydney and Brandy Sydney wouldn't eat or come out of the shelter 😔 so they got the stables ready , brought them in for the night where Sydney was trying to eat bits so they have him some bute and I thought it could be his abcess that was coming back on his lip so we were worried about our beautiful boy as he couldn't go without eating being an old boy ....but come yesterday morning he was wide awake , whinnying his little head off and couldn't eat his bucket fast enough 🥹🩵 do we think he conned us for them to get into the stables ...definitely 😂😂 they are so beautiful and even though we hate stabling him with his athritis that goes really bad when he's inside they literally couldn't move from the shelter in their field and this was the best for them just pray for next few days his legs will cope 🥹🙏🩵
Last night with it being -4 up at the sanctuary we double rugged our oldies Lewis, Trinkett amd Sydney so they could keep as warm as they possibly could .....first time Trinkett got to wear the under rug I bought her and I don't think there would have been a horse any warmer 🥹 with her under rug and her 400gm stable rug she was snug as a bug 🥹🩷
Albertina has been keeping warm her 200gm rug but yesterday we got the heavy weight rug on her to know she was definitely warm enough 🩷

I can't wait until all this freezing weather goes as there's a few mucky bums and tails that need washing and any water on the floor in this weather just freezes 😔

I can't wait till the farrier comes out next a few of our babies need their feet trimming ASAP 🙏

Sydney has been enjoying the bale of haylage in the next stable 😂😂 having unlimited food all night and day 🥹 🩵

And Trinkett has been sharing her hay again with some of her besties 🥹🩷🩵

They absolutely hate the wind , rain , cold and especially the snow they love to see it though through their window ☺️ I honestly cant believe my little Autumn is as strong and healthy as ever she's a little miracle ☺️🩷

💚💚💚 HELP NEEDED TOMORROW 💚💚💚

Hi everyone , I havnt the time today to message everyone back again who have messaged about volunteering but we are so greatful and will private message you all again as soon as I can.🩷
But these next few days we don't have the time to show new volunteers what we do but we really really need help 🙏🙏
While it's so bad we really need help taking the barrows to the muck heap and helping fill waters in the mornings as we are stuck for volunteers.
Please please if you can help message or comment.
This is a job anyone can do aslong as you are strong enough and able to 🩷🩵

It has been so so hard with all this snow and now horrendous ice ....and we have only had a few volunteers that have been able to come and help us for a few hours as they have found it impossible to get to us with the weather conditions.

Our beautiful little trinkett has been staying in having as much bedding as she can have with her little legs and is as cheeky as ever as you can see in the photo 🥹🥹🥹😝😂🩷

🐱🐱🐱🐱 I know it's a long video but I absolutely love them and wanted to show you how our 4 beautiful babies are keeping 🥹🐱🐱🐱🐱

I can't remember when I last did an update so I will tell you as much as I can 🥹 all our babies are now totally clear of the cat flu 😁🙏🩷🩵 and are getting bigger by the day 🥹🩷🩵 all apart from our little girl who I feel is always going to be a tiny little girl 🥹🐱🩷
The way they all love each other you would think they were all siblings I can't believe how happy Wilf is and with His little friend they both are now coming out to eat when we are still in the stable doing things which is amazing 🥹🙏🩷🩵
They love their food, their treats and the heater we have on daily for them 🥹🩵🩷

One of our gorgeous little boys absolutely love his treats and tries to eat all of them before the others know they are there 😂😂

We only have a few names left now on the " name the kittens" sheet 😁

It's so hard talking about them without saying their names 😂🙈 apart from Wilf who's name we think suits him perfectly 🥹🩷🩵

Now Christmas and the new year are over and we dont have to worry about fireworks once this freezing weather goes our babies will be ready to be let out where they can make our sanctuary their home 🥹🩷🩵

Would you like to start the new year helping us care for our wonderful animals ?

We are looking for more amazing people to join us and our amazing volunteer family on a weekly basis.

💚 Need to be able to commit days they can do on a weekly basis

💚 Need to be capable of doing physical work as there is alot of poo to move and wheeled to the muck heap

💚 Be happy with the standards we ask for as all we want is the sanctuary to look and keep its very best no matter what day visitors come to see us.

💚 Able to work as a team member and happy to work alone

💚 Also looking for someone who is happy changing our duck ponds on a regular basis and can help with any maintenance that may need doing

💚 own transport needed as we are not near a bus route

Some amazing news is that our oldest boy Lewis made a full recovery from his Colic 🥹🙏🩵 with how bad he was we didn't think we would be seeing him with his ladies running around again 🥹🙏🩵 he's such a strong, amazing boy 🥹🩵🐴
This was from tonight when I was looking all over thinking our 3 little shetlands had escaped into their field again 🙈lol

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our beautiful girl Molly 😢🐐💔
Since the 17th of December when we found Molly in the stable not being able to walk we have been caring for her and done eveything we possibly could with our amazing vets to get to the bottom of what had happened to Molly and doing everything we possible could for her and i felt she was going to get slowly better but these past few days she got worse and it was the right time for Molly yetsterday to say goodbye to her 😢💔
We bought Molly after seeing her for sale after she had been used over and over again for her milk the last being for lambs. She was petrified of people and took years to be completely feel comfortable with us knowing we didn't want nothing at all from her ...and this past year she accepted cuddles , being rugged and pampered and we have loved every moment 😢💔
While Molly has been poorly everytime I used my massage mitt on her she would look right at me and I would kiss her on her nose it was like she was thanking me every time 😢💔
We miss you so so much Molly and I'm so honoured to have been your mum and give you years of not being asked for anything and to enjoy time with your best friend Phoebe and learning that humans can and do love you so much 😢🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

I really wish I didn't have to write this post but we have to get things in place incase for our beautiful girl Phoebe 🐐🩷
But our beautiful girl Molly isn't doing well 😔 and we feel we are not winning in what we are doing for her 😔 Molly is still with us and doing all we can for her but if Molly had to be put to sleep Phoebe her best friend will be totally heart broken 😔 Phoebe isn't close to the twins like she is Molly... we are still wishing for a Christmas miracle for Molly and doing all we can but we need to be ready for Phoebe if it comes to the time that putting Molly to sleep would be the best for her 😔🩷
Does anyone know of a female goat needing a home ? Preferably with no horns as we don't want Phoebe getting picked on and hurt ....and Preferably as young as possible as we don't want Phoebe to loose any more friends 😔🩷🐐

Wouldn't feel right if our babies didn't need a little help again today 🩷🩵🩷🩵 Thank you so much to my sister for going to take care of our babies this morning ....🥹🩷
Then just before we were getting sat down for our Christmas Dinner I looked on our cameras to see Trinkett was laid down on her bad side in the field.
Looking back on the camera thank you to our amazing donkeys who stayed with her the whole time she had been laid down not being able to get up....when me and my mum got her up they made the biggest hee haw and ran away to say " she's safe now let's go and play and eat " 🥹🥹🩷🩵 They are the best carers for our little Trinkett they are soo sooo special 🥹🩷🩵
And thank god my mum went in to give our Molly more hay as she was laid flat out in the stable 😔 but everyone are all ok now and we are back home ....and will be back down there in a few hours 🥹🩷

I thought it would be a wonderful time to start this
As we have been told the marking on our gorgeous little girls nose looks like a Christmas 🎄 and now I can't unsee it every time I look at her and it puts a huge smile on my face 🥹🩷🩵
Our 3 kittens are so beautiful and we feel their names really suit them 🥹🩷🩵
Our other beautiful boys name Wilf is totally him when I look at him I couldn't imagine calling him anything else 🥹🩵🐱

It is £1 a name and there will be 3 winners who win £10 each 🥹

This is our Kittens first Christmas 🥹🎄 and Wilfs maybe second one and I really hope its the best one ever for them 🥰🐱🐱🐱🐱 They have had such amazing things donated for them 🥰🥰 which I managed to pop some in today 🥹 they have more toys , scratchers, Christmas blankets 😁🤩 and their new Santa bed 🤩🤩🩷🩵 Little monkey is so greedy he eats all the treats before the others get a chance to even know they are there 😂🙈 but I pop them all over to make sure they all get some 🥹🩷🩵 🩷Stacey🩷
