I normally avoid "show preparation" grooms purely due to the pressure and sadly slander that can and has ensued in the past, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to do Boomer the Australian Shepherd for his first show, having groomed him numerous times in the past, him and I have our moments of crazy wiggly fun!
Well off he went with his owner and WOW is all I can say. He won both his classes, then won BEST OF BREED, wait there's more...he came Third in the PASTORAL GROUP!!! I AM SO PROUD, and his owner sent me some amazing photos along with a very lovely message .

Odd and off topic request to my clients, it's coming up to prom season and my son needs a car. We didn't think he'd be able to go so hadn't put much thought eeeekkkk please if anyone has a very flashy noisy sports type car (typical lad ) that wouldn't mind giving him a lift in please message me obviously I'd cover all costs. Id like to share a feeling.... I don't truly believe some clients know how much their dog means to me, the groomer. I see your dog every 8 to 12 weeks and we have a unique bond of trust and if I'm lucky affection too so when I hear of one of my clients (as your dog is the true client) has past away regardless of age it hits me hard and I don't have the words to express to yourselves as I know how much you are hurting from the loss most. So today I share with you a dog I was so privileged to know and I've known for most of her life. She is now with many others running free and getting filthy with huge grins and waggy tails, knowing I can't groom them ever again. Love you Bella Bella.
