As we say goodbye to 2021, I am so happy to update everyone on Lil Baz.
January 1st 2021 saw us make a mad dash to Cave Referrals, where we discovered that Lil Baz had damaged his Spinal cord and needed emergency surgery. So many thoughts were running through our heads, we didn't know if we would get to take him home and if we did, if he would ever walk again. But the little fighter he is, he was walking just a few days later. However, little did we know then, what he would have to endure over the coming months. Even with all the pain he was in, Lil Baz's tail never stopped wagging, and to see his enthusiasm for life was enough to let us know he was going to make it.
We are now at December, 12 months on. After undergoing two further surgeries to fix his badly ruptured Cruciates, intense physio and lots of TLC, he finally got his wish this week to do what he loves most, to run around with his two best buddies. This is not the end of his rehab journey and we still have several months of physio. We know he will never return to how he was, but just watching him for those few seconds running and having the best time, gives me the best feeling ever. Dogs are the best! 🐾🐕😀
As we say..any dog can have a go at agility. Look at little Mitzi aceing her course and having fun, just after 2 short sessions. If you want to have a go and are a bit shy, consider coming along on your own and having an individual session.
The snow was a bit deep at Coxleigh! And yes, if you keep watching I did end up on my bum!
Even Harry decided to run around to keep warm!
