Please read.
I believe I have informed all my Friday clients but in case I have missed anyone.
I don’t take this decision lightly but with the red weather warning in places I must take it seriously as the dogs safety is my top priority and with this in mind I have made the decision to cancel all walks tomorrow I understand with very little notice this isn’t ideal so if you are still needing your pups checked in on tomorrow then Im happy to swap them to a pop in visit instead I hope you understand why I have made this decision. First pet sit off 2025 start with this lot who I had the pleasure of looking after this weekend.
We had Vanilla,Jimmy,Grace,Rennie,Hughie,Orla and Omalley.
We enjoyed some fun walks, lots of playtime in the garden and of course lots of cuddles.

I have limited availability left for 2025 so get in touch today to avoid disappointment of missing out on the dates you’re looking for.

Hey Guys. Please bare with me on Monday as timing might be a bit earlier/ later than normal as I had my car booked in for her Mot today but unfortunately the test centre failed to inform me that they had cancelled my appointment due to a closure so having to try and get in now done during the week as it is due to run out on the 20th December.
Also a little reminder that I will be off from Monday 23rd December- Wednesday 8th January back to work on Thursday 9th January.

For anyone looking to escape the firework this Bonfire night.
Also Classic fm will have the pet classic show on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th November from 5pm.
Some other recommendations from me for your pups make sure to have some enrichment on hand and ready to go snuffle mats, kongs, lickmats ect. Lots of dogs also love been in a safe place when there nervous example a crate with blanket over it and nice comfy bed.
Now is also the time to start using calming supplements for your pups to make sure there in there system my the time bonfire night come around.
Make sure to get your pups walk in nice and early as well to make sure there tried for the night ahead but just remember then are clowns who will think it’s a great idea to set fireworks off when it still light out so just be careful.
The most important thing is if you have a dog who is really not good with fireworks make sure then have a collar on with ID tags and if you see a dog who looks lost and doesn’t want to approach you don’t chase as they will most likely be in flight mode try and get a picture of them and pop it up on your local Facebook group of where you seen them and the time as these posts are always approved straight away.
Let’s try and keep as many animals safe this bonfire night.

We’re pleased to announce that our Nae Fireworks Night event is returning this year on Tuesday 5th of November!
If you’re looking for somewhere quiet to get away and walk your dog(s), in the company of other like-minded owners, then Whitelee Windfarm is the place for you. The Whitelee Countryside Rangers, Whitelee Visitor Centre and ScottishPower Renewables staff will be on site to run the event and do our very best to maintain a firework-free zone - although please understand this can never be fully guaranteed! We recommend that dogs are kept on leads during the event.
Whitelee Windfarm Visitor Centre will be open to dogs and owners, for hot drinks and cake until 9pm - don't forget to bring your re-usable cup to receive a discount off your hot drink and help us reduce our waste. New for this year, there will be coffee vans on both the grass in the visitor centre car park, and at turbine 40 at the bottom of the hill from the visitor centre. There will also be portaloos at turbine 40.

As always – spread the word that fireworks are not permitted at Whitelee windfarm. They pose a danger to site infrastructure, can cause peatbog fires, and cause distress to the sites wildlife and livestock, as well as visitors…so please don’t bring them.
