Not dog related, but before I changed the page to Toto's it was Self-care with Caren for the past 5 or 6 years, so I still may have clients on here!? Just letting them know that I am going to be doing my Reiki sessions ✨ on alternate Sundays from a lovely little room in Barrow town centre, at the end of this month. I've also had lots of enquiries about aromatherapy massage so I may also add my other therapies further down the line. 🌿 I will keep you posted 💜 Caren 🌸

Hello 👋 I have spaces in Daycare for a couple more small dogs on a rota and a couple for 'if & when'. Toto's Doggy Daycare is a small establishment, I find introducing the dogs to each other in a calm and homely environment helps them to relax and feel at ease at daycare, where they are free to potter around inside and outside, having walks, playtime, naps and plenty of one to one attention. This also helps yourself feel happy and reassured, knowing they are looked after throughout their day.
I have upto three little dogs and my own little one in any one day, depending on who is booked in.
If you have work commitments, days out planned, appointments, or just want your little dog to have company and interaction, socialisation and a different environment daycare could be suitable for you and your little one.

That's everything washed, disinfected, dried, folded up, put away. Ready for Monday. I'm having four days to myself 🤗 🙌
Now that all my lovely little daycare dogs have got to know eachother and are happy, relaxed and settled in Toto's I am ready to introduce a couple more little ones. I will advertise again on Monday. All messages will be answered on Monday after my time off ☺️

I am not a animal behaviourist, but separation anxiety is a real thing for dogs, dogs with separation anxiety exhibit distress and behavioural issues when left alone such as, trembling & salivating
Digging & scratching doors & windows
Destructive chewing
Howling, barking or whining
Urination & defecation
Withdrawal from owner
Hiding etc
There are many many things to help with this, before leaving spend one minute of gentle petting and talking, getting them comfortable with departure. Special treats, puzzle toys, Kong stuffed with peanut butter, soothing music, which is all removed once you are home. Lots of advice on Google, pet books and your veterinary practice.
Break their week up with daycare helping them with their social interaction and stimulation as well as relaxation. I keep my daycare to four dogs maximum per day, some days less as it all depends on the dogs needs and temperament.

I am so glad I started Toto's Doggy Daycare now and not in the New Year as originally planned. These past three weeks have been great! Toto's have welcomed four amazing dogs already, hello to Stella, Alfred, Arthur and Rosie and looking forward to new starters in 2024 ✨

As Toto's Doggy Daycare Service is a small establishment, I only take up to four dogs in a day less depending on the dogs themselves and their needs. I have only recently set up and running & my clients have been very organised and given me their rotas for daycare.
I have one space left for a little dog on ✅WEDNESDAYS ✅if this fits in with your rota/schedule/home/work life. 📌 *(This space has now been filled)* Space on other days available. Mon to Fri.

Doggy Daycare is the ideal environment for dogs/puppies to meet other dogs by socialising and interacting, this helps them stay active and engaged, as well as giving them companionship, just like us humans they must have opportunities to meet new friends and have fun. This participation is helpful to alleviate boredom and loneliness, it's ideal for for dogs who are shy or nervous. As this is a low key environment with a very small number number of dogs in any one day, so they are able to progress at their own pace.
Toto's Doggy Daycare offers a safe, fun and cage free habitat, with plenty of exercise and fresh air, relaxation and rest time throughout their stay in homely surroundings, where doggie is dropped off for the day and picked up for home time 🐶

Welcome to Toto's Doggy Daycare Service - the ultimate destination for a fun and safe experiences for your small furry best friend. I provide personalised care and attention to your dogs needs as they play and socialise.

The daily schedule at the dog sitting service ensures that your dog will have a fun and stimulating time. From walks to playtime and mindful games, your dog will have plenty of opportunities to socialize and stay active. Also quiet time is provided for those dogs that need a break.
Your dog will be in good hands with me.

At Toto's, a paid trial day is required for all new dogs that are going to join the daycare service.
Every dog is unique, that's why a trial day is offered to get your furry friend familiar with the surroundings. You can trust that your dog will be treated like family and given all the love and care they deserve.
I must ensure that your dog will be comfortable and does not show any concerning behaviours. Once your dog is approved to join daycare, I will schedule a reservation.

At daycare you can pack any meals that your dog needs throughout the day in a sealed container with their name on it. Treats are available but you can also send your dogs favourite treats as well as their bed or favourite toy. Updates and photos may be sent through the day if you would like to be kept updated.

Toto's Doggy Daycare is ran from my home, and a maximum of four dogs per day will be welcome on the premises. Dogs will be assisted at all times by myself, with lots of one to one attention throughout their stay.

A welcome pack will be given on the meet and greet, and the relevant paperwork completed prior to any bookings. Standard operation procedure documents, fire/emergency procedure documents, Infection control isolation procedure and medication policy are available upon request.
I am fully insured and fully licensed.

Hours of opening:
07:30am to 09:00am for drop off
16:00pm to 17:30pm for pick up
For an eight hour window
Additional hours can be added if needed.

Location:
Walney Island, Barrow-in-Furness.
