Hydro Hydrotherapy benefits in many different ways,it is a controlled form of water exercise.

Here at Grove Veterinary centre we have a Hydro Physio treadmill which we have been using for the last 3years to aid rehabilitation, improve gait and posture and help with pain management for our furry friends. Hydrotherapy can aid and improve many different conditions such as:
Spinal Injuries
Arthritis
Pain management
Obesity/ Weight management
Pre and Post operative surgery
General fitness

This is Paco, Dappy's partner in crime. Paco has recently qualified for Crufts and is coming to hydrotherapy for fun and fitness sessions. Paco is physically fit and healthy so our sessions will help with muscle development and cardiovascular fitness. Water therapy can benefit in many ways, not just post surgical recovery.

It was only fitting that we had Dappy back in the tank as one of our first hydro sessions since we opened our room back up. Dappy is a "professional" and has been coming to us for many years. Dappy has been in many competitions in his lifetime including crufts. He was happy to get straight in and show his brother what to do 😊 Great Job Dappy 🐶🐕

As of next week I am officially on Maternity leave! Thursday was my last shift for the year 🌹 and what an eventful shift it was 😂 Rudie, Rio, Dappy and Tilly spoilt me this week just gone with gifts, chocolates and cards ❤️ And I can't thank you all enough for your kind words, well wishes and heartfelt hugs 🤗 It really means alot. Water management is top on our list!

Testing the water this morning..... Imagine if the water was actually pink 😂😂💦 the tablets used to test the water turn the water to a pink colour to test for Chlorine 🐕🐶🐩🐺

From a dog who was unfocused, jumped up, turned around..... To walking a perfect session! Alfie has really taken to hydrotherapy well over the past few weeks. We are so proud of him!

Morning everyone! Happy Friday! This is Fred on his very first session having a run. Don't forget Fred is fit as a fiddle and only 2years old so we could push him abit harder on his first go in the tank. He love it! Treats involved for being a good boy too 👍😁

Fred yesterday getting comfortable in the tank with the water in. He is a natural water baby 💧
