Well the last few days have been full of exciting progress, just how we like it🙊

Max has taken to the start of his ridden education so well.. this morning I hopped straight on and we went for a solo hack around the block. He was totally unphased by everything and we had our first little play with trot! Big things to come from this boy.

We also welcomed the lovely ‘Angel’ two days ago, who settled in really nicely but proved yesterday she was rather distrusting when it came to the mounting process. On only day 2, she has shown massive progress, and this morning we actually went for our first hack & discovered that humans on board aren’t really all that bad!

Not forgetting the main man Rex, who schooled like an absolute dream on Saturday morning, and is really starting to find a lovely soft frame. Super exciting 😍

To say I love what I do is a total understatement ❤️

Quick update..

The lovely Max is progressing massively every day, today we were up and on board first time & had a little wander around the yard on our own! Not bad for day 4, such a quick learner 👌

My own horses are also feeling incredible, and soooo ready for the season ahead! Bring on the shows 🥳🥂

Hi Guys, hope your all coping with another lockdown!! Well the last few weeks has been crazy busy!! But that’s how we like it ☺️ My horses are feeling absolutely incredible after the dentist & a massage. And I am absolutely thrilled to see that shows will be starting up again as we are all feeling soo ready. Although lockdown has definitely taken me to some lovely places that I probably never would have visited before, Hensol last week was dreamy 😍 lots to come over the next few weeks, and I am super excited😁

I love days like today..

A very successful hack on William, who has come on leaps and bounds in the last two weeks!

Followed by the most enjoyable solo hack from my main man Rexy, proving really how much he’s come on 🙌🏻

Then a rather forward hack on my trusty steed willow, who may be 15 but thinks she’s 5. Can’t wait to get back in the ring on her!! She’s feeling incredible 🥰

& then last but not least did some groundwork with the new breaker Kayla!

Also within this crazy day, I managed to bath all 6 horses!! 🤣🤣 now I am well and truly pooped!

The lovely William out on his first solo hack yesterday.. we met all sorts of traffic, and no matter what we came across, he remained forward thinking, which shows me how much he’s progressing 🙌🏻 Just my luck to get caught in a downpour whilst out on a breaker, however he wasn’t the slightest bit bothered! Such a dude ❤️

Close up equestrian has also welcomed a lovely little mare, who has come to start her ridden education. I will be posting regular updates as soon as she starts work! How exciting 🥰

The lovely Criafol Pearly King, owned by Hannah Suzanne Raymond has come to me for a few weeks of bootcamp! From the day he was born we always said he would come to his auntie shan for his education, so to say I’m pleased to have him here is an understatement! A good tidy up, and up and on board on Day One.. William proving to be as cool as a cucumber about it all! Can’t wait to get him up and running ☺️👏🏻

Hello lovelies!! It’s certainly been a while, however I just wanted to let you all know my services will be continuing as of the next few weeks. I appreciate the last few months have been a difficult time for everyone, so if anyone needs a hand to get their horses back up and running, or even a good trim and a tidy up! You know what to do, drop me a message & I’ll be there.

I will be looking into running some confidence clinics too, I have focused, and learnt a lot about the human brain recently and not only that, but the horses brain too! So we will be putting some of that into play in the next few months.

My horses however, have massively benefited from all the hacking I’ve done lately! They’re all feeling fitter than ever and ready for when the competitions start back up! The two babies are growing well & learning every day 👏🏻

Well this weekend has been something very new to us, weaning time for our lovely c**t foal! And he’s taken to it extremely well, mixing with the other horses & seeming pretty settled. Such a tough experience for them but it seems all the handling over the past 5 months has done him the world of good.. Especially the bum scratches🙈

I am always so greatful that i’ve had the chance to be such a big part of Parc Twm Shanco’s ridden career, and get to enjoy helping him grow and mature, but this week he has really shown us how much our hard work has paid off, and it’s put into perspective just how special he is. First was the Gower show Sunday, behaved impeccably with the very busy atmosphere and a very long day, & gained a 3rd in both the M&M large breeds & the Section C&D class. Then today was the Vale Show, in which he performed his best individual show yet, and felt so in harmony with me the whole time, to get us a 3rd in a strong M&M ridden class, with very exciting comments from the judge, placing below 2 stallions. To say I am thrilled with this horse is an understatement, he’s a winner in my eyes ❤️

Sorry I haven’t posted on here for a while, it’s been so busy! All horses are going very well, Parc Twm Shanco is more than ready for his next couple of shows! Nobby’s Girl is improving every day & we’re starting to play with some more advanced lateral work🤗 Taffechan Top Gun is on the ball, enjoying having his owner on board.

Zantriano, owned by Vic Gillespie, did his first dressage test last weekend, and left us all smiling!

& We now have the most exciting addition to the team growing & developing in the field! Feeling very lucky ❤️
