NYD ‘FREE’ WALK IN CARDIFF!

LAST EVENT SOLD OUT IN A WEEK! GRAB YOUR “FREE” NYD DOG WALK 🎟️ IN COLLAB WITH

With the first event, selling out in just under a week and so many of you not able to make that date. We have worked our Magic & put on another walk on New Year’s Day. What’s better than spending the first day of the year surrounded by dogs & dog lovers!!

Grab your lead and join us for a FREE Lead the way walk on Monday 1st January 2024 at 12:00 pm.

The meeting point for our walk is Cosmeston Country Park (Rangers Office - behind toilet block), and the walk itself will take approximately 90 minutes. Sensible shoes and warm clothing are advised.
Paid parking is available onsite.

If you can donate, we will be accepting treats, toys or blankets which will be donated to a along with a tasty donation from . AND everyone who attends the walks will receive a free goody bag from Burns Pet Nutrition filled with plenty of treats.

A festive visit to Radyr today! We were overwhelmed by the incredible displays, Christmas vibes and festive fun. So many inviting photo opportunities for the family including our fur babies. The food was just as delicious. Disneyland’s version of Garden Centre Christmas!

The meeting point for our walk is Mrs Marcos Cafe, and the walk itself will take approximately 90 minutes. Sensible shoes and warm clothing are advised.
Paid parking is available onsite.

In the spirit of festive cheer, we will be accepting treats, toys or blankets which will be donated to a local rescue centre along with a tasty donation from Burns Pet Nutrition. AND everyone who attends the walks will receive a free goody bag from Burns Pet Nutrition filled with plenty of treats.

SAVE & SHARE this post to be pro-active & prepared in the event a fur-babe ingests choc this Christmas, it might just make a huge difference in an outcome! 💾 ❌PUT ANY CHOCOLATES UP HIGH OR AWAY❌ - Call your vet and follow their advice. - @pdsa website has a Pet Health Hub - Use their chocolate toxicity calculator - Call the pet poison helpline. Why does chocolate make dogs poorly? Chocolate contains a chemical called theobromine which is toxic to dogs. Theobromine doesn’t break down in a dog’s digestive system in the same way it does in ours, which makes them sensitive to the chemical. Symptoms to look out for are…… Agitation Unusual hyper-activity or excitement Vomiting Diarrhoea Drinking or peeing more than normal Tender belly Will a small amount effect my dog? The type and the amount of chocolate that your dog has eaten in relation to their size is very important when working out what affects you may see. A large dog such as a Labrador may not be badly affected by eating a small amount of milk chocolate, however, if a Chihuahua ate the same amount that could potentially be very dangerous for them.
