Why me and my dogs wear a poppy.

For my relatives that served: in the Boer War; at the Battle of the Somme; during the D-day landings; in the British Land Army; built Lancaster Bombers; as an APR Warden and are no longer with us.

For all the men, women and animals who served in the Great War and all conflicts before and after.
We Will Remember Them.
Today, Tomorrow and Always.

As a mointain rescue volunteer, I'm in North Wales doing white water training with fellow volunteers from Bolton, Calder Valley and Rossendale teams.

Mabel and Herbie - having a well earned rest and getting spoilt rotten, obviously 🐾

My first ever trail was with the beautiful Mia, in Austria over 6.5 years ago! Now 9 years old, she still absolutely loves trailing!! Proving just because you may be a little bit more grey, it does not mean your nose has stopped working - you're never too old to trail, applicable to both dogs and humans 🥰
