Macmillan is a charity close to many staff members' hearts, and we're sure some of our clients will know someone who has been helped by Macmillan.

Over the 2 weeks you will find a variety of cakes on the reception desk at our Barton practice, available to have for a (cash) donation to support this wonderful charity.

Last year we raised just over £140. Can we make it more this year?

Are you aware of blue-green algae?

What you need to know:

⚠️ Blue-green algae are tiny bacteria found in still, nutrient-rich water.

⚠️ They produce toxins harmful to dogs; about half of exposed dogs die.

⚠️ Most poisonings occur from drinking or swimming in freshwater lakes and ponds.
Symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, muscle tremors, and seizures can appear within an hour.

⚠️ Prevent poisoning by avoiding risky areas, checking algae warnings, and rinsing dogs after swimming.

MISSING CAT!
Handsome boy Milo is missing from his home in the Crawley Green / Rutland Path area of Luton LU2. He is a big cat, tabby in colour with unique markings. He has a big bushy tail, and a bold M on his forehead. He is a indoor cat so will be scared.

Recently a hedgehog was brought in and we were concerned it had fluid under its skin as it was so large and had 'squishy' parts.
Fortunately, the x-ray just showed it was a big hedgehog!
