Meet Bailey
Bailey's dedicated owners brought him in as they had noticed blood in his urine. One of our vets, Chloe, who has an interest in exotics, took on Bailey’s case.
As you can see by the x-ray poor Bailey was diagnosed with uroliths (bladder stones)! This can be very serious in rabbits and cause blockages as well as other problems like gut stasis. Bailey required a cystotomy to remove the stones from his bladder. We are pleased to say that Bailey has recovered well certainly be feeling a lot better!

If you notice any problems with your rabbits urination, it is always best to get them checked by a vet

Pet Health Check – only £24.99!* 🩺

The festivities may be over, but your furry friends might still feel the effects! From gobbling goodies, to the excitement of visitors, the holiday season can take its toll.

💡Your pet can’t tell you what’s wrong, but we can:
☑️ Weight and body: That extra snacking, chilly weather and salty pavements can all add up!
☑️ Behaviour changes: The stress of changes in routine and noisy celebrations can affect your pet’s well-being.
☑️ Joints and mobility: Cold weather can affect mobility by making your pet’s joints stiff and painful.

Our expert veterinary nurses can spot and address any potential concerns early to ensure your pet starts the New Year healthy and happy! 🥳
