I do love a good Dremeled nail.. had to use my nail to show how much shorter they are afterwards.
Short nails are so important for the conformation of your dog's paws. Smaller breeds can suffer permanent damage to their bones in their paws and larger set breeds can suffer complications with their patellar and hip joints by making compensations while they walk/run.

Well it appears we will be having some much cooler temperatures and much needed rain over the coming day's however rumour has it we will have blazing heat again afterwards, so to avoid disappointment I'll be extending my hours slightly to ensure your furbabys can be made comfortable before it changes again.

Thank you everyone for showing your support at Thorpe Bay Golf Club.
We had an amazing day helping to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK
A special mention for Sir Trevor Brooking, Paul Brush, Tony Gale and Brian Dear for signing my shirt, it will take pride of place in our shop. Also thank you to Kenny Brown for your support and contributions during the day, unfortunately he had to leave early and missed signing but I'm sure I'll be able to stalk him and get it rectified 😂

Thank you to all our customers that allowed us to move your appointments so that we could help support this amazing charity today.
As a small family business it isn't always easy to take the loss or even provide financial support for charities but this is a cause that we are very passionate about. Cancer has dramatically affected our family over the years and more recently Prostate cancer has impacted a close friend and family member, we hope that we're able to help raise some much needed funds for this today and we ask that if any of you would be able to help that you can also donate or even just help raise some awareness by sharing.

⚠️ Weather Warning ⚠️
With today's & tomorrow's predicted temperature I have made the decision to close. This hasn't been a decision I have taken lightly and I know that many of my customers are wise enough not to contemplate taking their dogs out in the heat however this doesn't speak for the passing trade of walk-in nail cuts I get frequently so to avoid encouraging irresponsible behaviour I decided to close for the hotter day's. Should this weather continue throughout the summer I will be offering very early morning appointments or late evening appointments to avoid the hottest parts of the day completely.

Love doing a half shave.. Ozzy demonstrating just how much coat is coming off him today.. he even pulled his funny face so I don't think he's very impressed 😂
I'll be replying to messages today to book appointments so don't worry if I've not yet replied.
This time of year I can get very busy so make sure you book ahead to secure appointments in your desired time frame and to keep a good scheduled routine for your fur-baby.

This was Cody's first professional groom at 6yrs old.. he had always been groomed at home however never before had he had his face touched or even looked quite as dapper as he did when done by us.
Well done Cody you took to the whole experience like a pro!
Nanny was even tearful with how handsome you looked.

It's been a while since I posted and some of you are already aware that I have had a few health issue's.
However I've never been one to sit and wait for life to happen so it's is my pleasure to announce that Marablitz now has a new premises 😁
We have been working tirelessly to get the new premises up and running and will be announcing our grand opening pawty in the coming day's!
