Hi everyone, just to let you know I’m currently away at the moment in lanzarote for a family holiday and also to fulfill my mother in laws wishes to scatter her ashes in one of her happiest places where she use to live. So it’s a bittersweet one but we all needed this break after the last 9 months 😞 to relax and recharge 🥰

Hello everyone just sending a message to my customers booked in for the next couple of weeks, I will message everyone individually as well.

unfortunately my beautiful brave strong mother in law passed away after a long hard courageous battle with cancer 💔 as a family we are completely heartbroken and I need to support my husband and my girls as they are taking it extremely hard. My husband is an only child so everything falls to us to sort out. So I am having to take some time off to support them through this difficult time.

I'm so so sorry everyone, everyone knows I hate cancelling, but my family have always been my first priority. but I will be in touch as soon as I can. I will be doing the appointments as in first cancelled first back in. I had to shut over covid for a few weeks so I have been here before where I've had to close for some time but I will get everyone back in as soon as I can. Obviously if anyone is desperate and can't wait I have some other groomers who can help while I'm off I'm hoping it will be only for a week or 2 but I have some local groomers who I trust completely and I wouldn't take offence it would help me out in the long run. Hope everyone can understand that

I am emotionally and mentally exhausted from the last few days. I just need some time to get myself together and get my family through this difficult time . Please give my little friends 🐶 a kiss for me and I'll be in touch as soon as I can. Lots of luv Charlene 🐾 xx

Happy new year everyone ❤️

Hope everyone had a lovely Xmas, I haven’t been on social media that much as I wanted to spend quality time with my family, but I want to say thank you so much to everyone for their generous xmas gifts & tips, really means a lot ❤️

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I’m having to cut my days and hours down a little as unfortunately we as a family had some sad news towards the end of the year 😞 it’s been a very hard time .
So I hope everyone can understand I need to be there to support my family and be around a lot more. If life has taught me anything at the end of 2022 it’s your family need to come before anything. So please please I hope you can all support me when I’m unable to fit you in last minute anymore, I need to support my family and they need me more than ever . I’m sorry if I haven’t answered your messages straight away, it’s just I do have a lot going on 😞

Also I’m having to do a price increase, it will range from £3 to £5 some people are already on the new price) I know some groomers charge alot more than myself and I need to try and stay in line with them which is only fair as this job can be very hard work both physically and mentally so I’m so sorry to have to do this, but I have tried to keep it down to the bear minimum for as long as possible, but with the cost of everything rising and still rising, this includes not only the obvious (water, electric), but my products I use, ie shampoo tools etc, have continued to rise too. I could use less expensive products, tools but I want the very best for your little ones.

Hope everyone can support my changes and understand I really wouldn’t do any of this if I didn’t have to ❤️

Just to let everyone know any customers that has messaged me I’m not ignoring anyone just trying to regain my strength, and I can sort my diary out, I’ve got to get my cancelled dogs in first the ones I had to cancel due to this sickness bug, then I can see where I’m at with appointments, I am extremely busy at the moment, please bare with me 😞

Happy new year 🥳
Hope everyone had a lovely Xmas and new year ❤️.

Just a few changes I’m having to make this year,
So last year I was working 7 days a week sometimes, just to fit everyone in, and that I hate saying no 🙈 I like to please everyone but by doing that I’ve worked myself in to the ground 😞 so I’ve got to stick to a limited amount of days and dogs as working the way I was, was affecting me both physically and mentally.
I absolutely love my job but I’ve never looked at it like a job but by working so much I started to look at it like that.
I always said I’m a mum first but I’ve let that slip a little, I know my girls are older but I still need to be there for them ❤️ I couldn’t plan family days out as I was always working and realised this isn’t fair on them 😞

So as much as I hate to this 🙈 I can only offer the days I’m working now, so please please pre book when you can as I sometimes have a 2 week wait for my regulars ❤️

I’m unable to take on any new clients unless it’s just baths, I’m just so so busy, I feel awful not being able to 😩 but I do know some more amazing groomers who are local

There will be a slight price increase for some breeds/dogs I will let you know on your next appointment, I’ve never done a price increase since I started 3 years ago, again I hate doing this but to keep in line with local groomers and to be able to keep using the best products it’s something I have to do

Also if anyone Is more than 15 minutes late for a appointment I may have to reschedule as it will run into the next grooming appointment and where i am one to one and don’t cage the little ones im unable to run on a late schedule.

Just want to say thank you so so much for all my lovely gifts, cards and money I have been truly spoilt this year ❤️

Also thank you so much for letting me care for your little ones for another year, I love and adore each and every one of them like they are my own 🥰 thank you for all your support in growing my business from word of mouth and recommendations from so many of you I have been able to close my books ❤️ I am truly lucky to have such amazing customers ❤️

Hi everyone,

Sorry if I haven’t replied to messages I am not ignoring anyone but I’ve been besotted with this lil one.

Meet my new beautiful nephew Brooklyn 💙

I’ve been having a good few days off to enjoy spending time with my new nephew as this is my first time becoming an aunt 🥰
As most will know these times are so precious and I don’t want to miss out.
So I will get round to replying when I’m back at work.
Unfortunately I’m unable to take on any new customers at this moment due to being so busy, I wish I could but there is just not enough hours in the day 😩 I will always help to recommend some other groomers that I know who are amazing and will look after your little ones for you.

I will always keep checking my diary to see if and when I can accept any new dogs ❤️

When your pet is young and wiggly, I promise to make every grooming experience a positive one. From their first intro to grooming until they are so old they can't stand up anymore, I will be there for them.

From terrified rescue dogs who flinch at everything to the unsocialized dingos with no manners, I will be there for them. I will gain their trust, reform their behavior, and educate their owners.

I will Always put the comfort of your pet first...even if this means grooming them on the floor because they can't stand up anymore...even if this means arguing with the owner of a matted pet about shaving it for it's own well being & benefit...even if this means having to send a pet home and taking a pay cut because it was unsafe for us to continue. Your pet will ALWAYS be put 1st.

I will do my very best to remain as educated in my field as possible. I will know what to do with your pet in the case of an Emergency, and I will always refer you to a veterinarian whenever care beyond my means is necessary.

I will be there for you when the delicate time comes to say goodbye. And I will cry with you, because I love your pet as one of my own. This is the pet groomers promise.

Hi everyone, just a little pic to show the areas to concentrate on the most while I am shut. Please please please 🙏🏼 keep brushing and combing to avoid matting.

If anyone is having trouble please message me and I will give you some tips to help x

A slicker brush, comb and detangling spray will be the best way to keep on top of the dogs coats especially the curly coated ones

This is basically what I’m allowed to groom severely matted, so the only cuts I’m allowed to do is shave offs 😢 and I would need to provide photographic evidence to back this up otherwise I could land myself a £10,000 fine which I wish I did have but I certainly can’t afford that 😩

I’m so gutted and I’m so sorry ❤️😢
