Small breakthrough with Miss Cora yesterday.
We have been working for some time on her anxiety/attachment to her human, lots of small steps has been very important for her progress so we don't overstep and lose her trust.

We can now happily attach the lead, go to her fave toilet spots and she now happily settles with me for some fuss time.
The car has been slowly introduced since the beginning but it was a source of anxiety for her so lots of very small exposure sessions during my visits and no actual getting into vehicle fully.
Today I opened the door for her to have a sniff around and she jumped straight in 👏 🎉
I would like to get Cora comfortable with going in my car so we can go to another area for walks as she has a strong safety ring around her home that she doesn't like to leave while walking without her owner.

A massive win for the week, well done little Miss ❤️

Going into 2025 KBK9s is fully booked for walking services. Any slot availability that comes up will always be offered to existing clients and anyone on the waiting list. I will advertise them on here if no takers.

I will still have availability for training 121s and Training walks as needed. I will update this pinned post should anything change.

Thank you to all my lovely clients, supporters and followers this year.
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas if you celebrate and get some time to pop your feet up.

Any requests will be dealt with on 6th Jan when I return.

I will be popping up a pinned post soon about availability in 2025, hopefully that will help anyone looking for services going forward (and save my inbox 🫣)

KBK9S is out of office until Tues 12th Nov.
Mini KBK9s (Eva 😄) has a date with the dance floor In sunny Blackpool for Nationals this weekend so we will be off on our travels.

Teddy loves a bit of wild agility but over time he had learnt that if he does this he will often get a positive response from me and maybe a treat reward. He has now upped his game and finds the best spots and does a lovely sit and stay (pose 😁) because he knows I will get my camera out and he will 100% get a treat for it. He has learned the variables and that's super clever.

Moonlight Walk for St Micheals Hospice last night was an absolute success. Thank you for all your donations, those of you the have had loved ones supported by the hospice will know what a difference they make in such a hard time. Over £300 raised 🎉 I didn't get around to doing individual messages of thanks throughout the walk as I was busy keeping everyone safe. (Ps please excuse my awkwardness in front on the camera 🫣😂) #moonlightwalk #StMichaelsHospice

Hi Everyone. So most of you will know that sometimes my children accompany me on walks during the school holidays. What me and the children would like to do in the upcoming holidays is help clean up the local area by litter picking while we are out and about dog walking. (Children will be picking while I do the dogs don't worry lol) Do any of my lovely clients have any litter picking equipment they would like to donate to help us to do this? We see so much rubbish laying around and it's such a shame to see and also sometimes very dangerous for our dogs to be around like glass etc. Many thanks for reading 😊

Finally I have a blackberry forager 🤣. I'm always encouraging the dogs to do this but they usually look at me like "nope, I prefer the food in your pocket" I showed this to Copper a couple of weeks ago then due to the heat we didn't walk again until today so couldn't see if he was still interested. Safe to say he was. Yummy nature treats 😍
