New Tuesday Afternoon Beginners Class
Starting 15 October

As the new Monday afternoon beginners class filled up so quickly we have decided to start another group on Tuesday afternoons. This class will run between 2.20-3.20pm and be for a maximum of 6 dogs. No previous experience is required. Cost £46.40

New! Tuesday Afternoon Beginners Group

As our new Monday afternoon class filled up so quickly we are now planning to start a new Tuesday afternoon class next month.

The introductory course will be for 4 weeks and cost £46.40. The class will run from 2.45-3.45.

Exciting News.... our first ever hoopers class is starting next week!!

Class time: Thursdays 9.45am.
£92.80 per 8 weeks

There is still one place available - this first class is only available to dogs who are training or who have previously trained at the club. Hoopers is suitable for dogs from 6 months but also for older dogs who need a low impact activity. 😀

We hope to open classes to everyone next year. 😄

New Monday Afternoon Beginners Group (3-4pm)

We will be starting a 4 week introductory course for beginners on Monday 30 September. Those that enjoy the introductory course will be able to continue regular weekly classes at the same time.

Tuesday Morning 10am
We have one place become available in our Tuesday morning beginners class. This is suitable for a complete beginner or a dog who has just done a little bit of agility. :) All dogs start with a 4 week introductory course which costs £46.40.

Wednesday Evening Beginners Class

UPDATE... BOTH PLACES HAVE NOW BEEN TAKEN

We have got 2 places become available in our Wednesday evening (6-7pm). These are suitable for dogs who are complete beginners or who have done just a little bit of agility.

All dogs start with a 4-week introductory taster course to see whether they (and you) enjoy agility. The cost of this course is £46.40.

Once you have completed the 4 week course you will be able to continue for the rest of the Summer (end of September) if you wish to... and then get priority for next year's evening classes.

We will be starting 3 new beginners classes in April. They are now available for booking!

New Beginners Classes - April 2024
We will be emailing everyone who has added their details to the waiting list with information about the new classes on Wednesday.

The new classes will be at the following times

Tuesdays 10am
Wednesdays 11.05am & 6pm

Unfortunately as our Monday schedule is very full we won't be starting any more Monday classes this year.

New Beginners Classes
We will be starting 3 new beginners groups in September 😀😀😀

If you have submitted your details via our website since the beginning of this year you should receive full details by email this afternoon.

All dogs start with a 4 week introductory course so that you can see whether you and your dog enjoy agility classes before making a longer term commitment. The cost of the 4 week course is just £44.

The minimum age for joining is 6 months for small/medium dogs such as spaniels, terriers and cockapoos, 9 months for collies and similar size dogs, and 12 months for labradors and other large dogs.

The classes will be at the following times
Monday Afternoon 2.10-3.10pm
Tuesday Morning 10-11am
Saturday Afternoon 1.25-2.25pm FULL

BEGINNERS PLACES UPDATE
We have the following places available on upcoming introductory courses for beginners on our private agility field between Basingstoke and Cliddesden. (£44 for 4 weeks) If you and your dog enjoy the introductory course you will be able to continue with a weekly class at the same time.

Tuesday Mornings 10-11am 4 weeks starting 18 April (NOW FULL)

Wednesday Mornings 9.45-10.45am 4 weeks starting 17 May

BEGINNERS PLACES 2023
Thank you to all those people who have added their details to the waiting list over the past few months.

We have a new Tuesday daytime class starting on 18 April (10-11am) and a new Wednesday daytime class starting on 17 May (9.45-10.45).

We are currently working our way through the waiting list offering places to those who said they were able to do a Tuesday or Wednesday daytime.

In September we will start new groups on Monday and Saturday afternoons.

We currently have one place available to join a lovely group of dogs (2 working cockers, 2 cockapoos and a Weimaraner :) ) in our Wednesday lunchtime class (12.00-13.00).

We also have places available on the reserve list for the following classes

Beginners Agility Classes - Useful Information

We start between 6-8 new groups each year (so about 40-45 dogs).

We run daytime classes on Monday afternoons and throughout the day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (finishing at 3.45pm)

We also have a few groups who attend Saturday classes between September and April and then swap to weekday evenings for the Spring/Summer months.

We usually start new daytime groups in the Spring and in September and a new Saturday afternoon group in September.

All dogs start with a 4 week intro to check that both the dog and handler enjoy agility training - more than 95% then continue their agility journey.

We keep reserve lists for beginners classes so if anyone drops out we can offer the place to another dog.

We very rarely advertise any spaces as they are usually all filled by those who have expressed an interest through our website. So if you are interested in joining us please do fill in the brief form on the website.

Beginners Places Available - Tuesday & Wednesday Daytimes

Tuesday Morning 10.20-11.20
One place just become available to start immediately. Suitable for dogs born before 1 Nov 2021. As this class started in May the place is most suitable for a bright enthusiastic dog who will catch up easily such as a labrador, working retriever, collie, working cocker spaniel, poodle cross etc.

All our other places are suitable for all dogs who would like to have a go! The vast majority of dogs enjoy agility providing they are happy in the company of other dogs and like either food or playing with a toy/ball.
