I often get asked if dairy cows/giant oranges are good custodians for a jumping spider enclosure. The answer in my mind is no. They're a massively protein hungry species, and could easily take on a spider if they wanted to. I've seen them kill locusts and other feeders. And after trying them in one enclosure, decided absolutely not worth chancing it.
