❤️🩸🐕 DOG BLOOD DONORS NEEDED 🩸🐕❤️

We are looking for healthy adult dogs to be registered on our blood donor list to be able to provide life saving blood to critically ill patients.

If your doggy friend meets the following criteria and you think they can be a super dog please contact us.
🩸 Fit & healthy
🩸 Between 1 & 8 years old
🩸 Weigh 25kg or more but not overweight
🩸 Have a good temperament
🩸 Never travelled outside of the UK
🩸 Up to date with vaccinations or have had an annual titre test
🩸 Not on any long term prescription medication

The following breeds are particularly needed as they are more likely to be DEA 1- which is a rarer blood type but able to be given to all dogs in an emergency. ‼️
🐕 Airedale terrier, American bulldog, Basset hound, Border collie, Boxer, Dobermann, Dogue de Bordeaux, Flat coat retriever, German Shepherd, Greyhound, Lurcher, Old English Sheepdog, Weimaraner 🐕

Below you can see Vet Normas lovely dog Bowie after having his sample taken to check his blood type to be a donor dog. Thankyou Bowie you’re a hero! 🦸🏻‍♂️

We will need to take a free of charge blood sample from your dog and then check what their blood type is. Once your dog is on the list they will receive a free perk from us if they are required to make a blood donation, the perk can be discussed and agreed with Carlos or Adrian. If you think your dog could help save another dogs life please give us a call or send us an email and we will go through the next steps with you. ❤️

We are a small team but an awesome one and we are looking for a new RVN to join us. We are looking for a similarly awesome individual willing to learn and progress in their career. Benefits include a generous salary package great shift patterns and interesting referral caseload. Referral experience would be ideal but by no means critical. Some of our team have come from 1st opinion practice and have thrived! An interest in orthopaedics and/or anaesthesia would be ideal 🐱🐶🩻🦴🪛

Prince joined us in Oct 2024 as quite withdrawn, low confidence, dog reactive and touch sensitive / reactive too and some what depressed. Life had changed in his household with a new human baby sister and house moved and a new business that his parents were juggling too… Prince was a little lost soul that needed to have some fun and a bit of guidance, structure and confidence built into his daily routines. His family also needed a little help with how to manage Prince on a few obstacles such as putting the harness , walking , and general building on their relationship with Prince. we have watched Prince slowly come out of his shell, let his guard down and finally enjoy playing with his new friends. We have amended the type of harness he wears both for comfort and for security and control. We have worked on his confidence with us too and him learning to trust us and that we too have his back so he doesn’t have to protect himself. Prince now enjoys field play 3 times a week and is so much happier overall. His parents report he is so much more content and happier in himself. Todays video is of him having a game of chase and a lovely review sent to us by Princes’s mummy###
