This very cute, bouncy little lady is Scout, she is a gorgeous 3month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She was very excited to visit the practice and Tula our receptionist very much enjoyed the licks and wiggly cuddles. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Meet Bruno, he is a gorgeous 4 month old puppy that visited us this week to be weighed so we could dispense his next flea, tick and worming treatment. He was a very good lad and sat so well on the scales, good work Bruno. We look forward to seeing you again next month. ☺️🐶🐾

Meet Lionel Bear and Ronnie Barker aren’t their names superb 😂. These two are Newfoundland’s. Lionel Bear is just 4 months old and already weighs nearly 30kg. These two gorgeous gentle giants are both members of our Pet Health Plan.

🎉 We would like to give a huge congratulations to Debbie on becoming a Qualified Nurse!! All Debbie’s hard work has paid off, she is ready to begin her next challenge to become a Clinical Feline Behaviourist.

Are you due to be visiting the practice soon?

The A431, Kelston Road is shut between Oldfield School and just outside the Bath side of Kelston Village. So please find an alternative route. Please note that as you approach Kelston Village from Bitton on the A431 there are road closed signs but the closure is beyond the turning to the us, so you can access the practice.

Anyone visiting Kelston Vets from the Bath direction this week please be aware the road will be closed for tree work. Please plan your journey and allow extra time for the diversion.

Two beautiful pairs of Siamese friends, Mocha and Coco who are in with us today to be neutered and Hazel and Beavis who belong to our lovely receptionist Tina.
Siamese often form very close bonds with their housemates, do you have any photos of your bonded cats? We would love to see photos them 😻

This is Sara, one of our RVNs. Sara provided some locum cover for us a couple of years ago and fell in love with the practice. She then became a permanent member of the team and loves every aspect of her job.
Sara has been a nurse for over 20years and her favorite part of nursing is surgery.
She is kept busy at home with her Partner, Son and their menagerie of pets.

Lovely Archie came in to see us today to be castrated. He brought his little Teddy for company and didn’t put him down! Getting photos of Archie was very tricky as he is such a happy, waggy boy!

At Kelston Vets we do our best to keep visits to the practice as stress free as possible for your pets. For cats, this will involve spraying their bedding with a calming spray, giving them a place to hide, and using treats. Here is our student vet nurse looking after Oreo.

Debbie has been our student vet nurse for the past two and a half years, whilst she completes a degree in Veterinary Nursing Science. She has a passion for all things feline, and is a real advocate for cat friendly veterinary care.

Debbie says, ‘I have loved completing my nurse training at Kelston Vets. The whole team are so friendly and supportive, and we have great clients. I have been able to develop skills such as anaesthesia, radiography and inpatient care under the guidance of my clinical coach Becky.’

Away from nursing Debbie enjoys spending time with her two cats, meeting up with friends and volunteering with The Together Project, a local charity that provides veterinary care to the pets of homeless people in Bath

This lovely chap is Nelson. He was diagnosed with diabetes earlier this year. With regular vet checks, medication and fantastic owners Nelson is doing brilliantly! We looking forward to seeing Nelson and his lovely smile again soon 🥰
