Today is . Most of us would have heard of diabetes, but did you know that it can affect our pets too?
Diabetes occurs when there are abnormally high sugar levels in the blood, caused by a problem with insulin. Insulin is a hormone made by the pancreas that works to move sugar out of the bloodstream and into cells after a meal.

Today is Check The Chip Day. Being microchipped is a legal requirement for dogs and for cats it will be from 10 June 2024.
Making sure your pet’s microchip is up to date is important because if they did go missing, it could make the difference in being reunited with them.
