Still she enjoyed scenting the area to ward the other wolves away from her find.

Thank you to Schneider Electric for your hard work again this year.
The Lemur enclosure area was long overdue for a revamp as it had become overgrown with brambles and weeds and goodness knows what else was lurking in the undergrowth!! You all got stuck in and cleared the area whilst being observed by the Ringtail Lemurs, I think they were actually sunbathing whilst you worked. 🐵
The wolf enclosures needed tidying up around the perimeters to make easier access to the far end of the site and allow the wolves to view the surrounding nature. Whilst the wolves watched you all work you were all very kind to feed them venison to help with relationship building!! It was a howling success from Tarik and his friends🐺
This was all achieved by the volunteers dedicated hard work.
Great teamwork and great results.

It's been a great pleasure to attend Longleat for the live shows with Steve Backshall this past 10 days. We have worked with Steve before and it was as brilliant then as it was this time around. The live shows were incredible with a great line up of amazing animals.
We cannot thank Darren Beasley and his amazing Longleat crew for making us feel so welcome and especially making Tarik feel the love ❤️

We had the great pleasure yesterday of meeting our oldest ever visitor Marion came to meet Star & Tarik. Marion who recently reached her 99th birthday graced us with a visit with her son Wal. We were very honoured to meet them both and the boys behaved well.

Let's hope Marion can make it to her 100th birthday where she informs us she wishes to go skydiving !!!

Incredible lady an inspiration to us all.

Spent years trying to tame them and then the "Wallaby Whisperer" comes along with her brown bread and here they all are allowing to be hand fed and stroked.

We have sad news about the loss of Kody yesterday. After a sudden decline in her health we decided it was kinder to allow her a peaceful end to a very fulfilled life!!

Kody was the first of the wolves to ever come to us and with great sadness we have to inform you all of her loss. She has left a huge hole in our hearts and we will miss her so much.
Over the next few days we will share some of Kody's life story.
Kody was 15 years old when she passed away.

Kody has met 1000's of people from all over the world, she's play cupid twice, been on the radio, TV, music video, met famous people and also her face is a tattoo on a visitors shoulder.
But most of all she was loved by us all here and we will never forget her.

We would like to say a massive thank you to https://in-line.studio for their fantastic redesign on our website. For the last 12 years it hasn’t been efficient enough and took hours of our time answering email enquiries and arranging bookings, having the new booking system in place allows us more time to focus on the work that we do to help rescue animals and care for the long term animals we have here, which is so important.

Scott has been extremely helpful, we have gained a system that works really well for our needs, the design is less complicated than our previous website, which I am sure our customers will find this easier too

Thank you Northern Howlers for your fantastic efforts in raising £305.50 for the wolves. This is an amazing amount of money and will help keep those hungry wolves fed! Donations help us to continue to rescue these beautiful animals. 2023 was our busiest year for rescues and we hope to be able to take care and offer these animals a forever home with us.

It has been a great few months of extremely kind people offering help in one way or another.
We are extremely grateful to you all.

We have received a lovely food donation for the animals from Melksham Pet Food Bank who brought us some food and cat litter. Please use them if you need help with feeding your pet when in need of support when you need that extra help.

We would also like to thank SC Game from Chipping Sodbury who have been supplying the wolves with some very tasty venison bones. I can verify that the wolves are very pleased when Duncan and Jenny Hall very kindly deliver the bones to us.
