Milly is the latest addition to our team. She is a fully trained Spaniel and comes from superb pedigree lines.
Milly is very sweet, kind and fun natured. She loves being around people, great with our girls and loves all of her new friends. Milly you have settled in like you have always been here. We love you so much already.

Our Daughterâs lovely dog, Maggy, has had a litter of Wire-haired Dacshund puppies.
Mother and puppies doing well. All strong and healthy.
Excited to see these little ones grow and develop.
So happy to share this experience.

During the month of September, given the opportunity, I would live in an igloo. I would happily swap terrifying invasions and trespassing of these creepy crawlies for arctic conditionsâŚbearing in mind I do not suffer the cold lightly.
Living in a semi rural location, in a very old, albeit beautiful house does seem to attract more of these eight legged creatures than perhaps modern houses. We are on day 12 of the dreaded âspiderâ September, and so far I have encountered at least one HUGE beast within my homeâŚEVERY DAY!!!!!!
I am terrified of spiders, if you hadnât already picked up on that yet! So when I learnt earlier this week that Peppermint oil is known to help keep spiders out of your home, I was elated whilst also slightly concerned that I may be the last to learn such information!
The Peppermint oil has arrived! So I am hopeful that my trial may work, thus giving me some relief from the constant fear that they are lurking and possibly out to get me!
If anyone has used this method and can share experiences I would be grateful. I also hope that perhaps I am not the last to know and my new found fact may be useful to another arachnophobe!
On another note, circling back to what this page is all aboutâŚto my knowledge the dogs are not one bit concerned about spidersâŚin fact spiders are just a game of tag to them!

The unplanned âplannedâ litter!
After unsuccessful planned matings between the lovely Giddy and Reggie in 2022, we had decided not to have pups from Giddy this time and this take a little break from breeding over the summer. Reggie and Giddy clearly felt differently!
Reggie decided to leap a very high wall into one of the grass runs. Giddy happened to be in said runâŚI let Reggie run around the yard not realising that Danny had put Giddy in this run!
We decided that due to the fact she only had one mating, no âoptimum days were calculated, or bloods taken etc etc⌠and that she didnât take last time, what were the chances and opted out of injecting Giddy with some unnecessary drugs!
Fast forward a couple of monthsâŚa litter of perfect chocolate pups arrived safe and well.
So the moral here, sometimes nature (or Reggie!) knows best!
