Our lovely Emily is leaving for Canada at the end of January so we have a full time vacancy.

Are you passionate about dogs and looking for a job where every day is paws-itively rewarding? 🐶 At Doggy Doos, we’re on the hunt for a dedicated, dog-loving superstar to join our team full-time!

Monday-Friday 8.45am-5.15pm

Here’s what we’re looking for:
🦴 Someone who loves working with dogs of all breeds and sizes.
🦴 A team player who’s not afraid of rolling up their sleeves (and possibly getting covered in fur and mud!).
🦴 Hard-working, reliable, and ready to keep up with an active, outdoor environment.
🦴Safe, confident and sensible driver who’s good at navigating the Bath area to collect doggos.

I just had to share this brilliant photo my staff sent me today. 🤩😂 The big coats are back out! said she was depressed wished she had an office job and Emily was planning to go travelling again! All the dogs were soaked. 🐶 💦 I’m sure it won’t be long until the mud returns and we will be back to washing and drying all the dogs every day again! If your dog has an or similar type jumper or coat-they are going to be needing it.

Please help find Eddie the right home. 🐾

EDDIE is a 2yo GSD cross and weighs about 25kg.
His current owners have had him since he was 5 months old but for various reasons they are unable to keep him so sadly need to find him a new home. They have done a year of weekly training classes including agility and scent training - he is super intelligent and driven! But he does have a few issues.
Issues:
separation anxiety
Resource-guarding from other dogs (not from humans)
Can be reactive on lead towards other dogs as he is frustrated and wants to play
Has got elbow dysplasia and hip dysplasia however he had a few months of pain relief and rest and his front leg lameness has completely resolved so he’s just on supplements. He’s never been lame on back end.

Why he’s lovely
- Highly intelligent boy: good at agility, great at scent training, ‘find it’ games, loves tug. Will play fetch indefinitely
Affectionate, loves to sit by us and sometimes on our lap, loves tummy tickles.
loves other dogs and good in play

Ideal home
probably only dog in the household because of his resource-guarding unless people are happy to manage this
Can live with cats but will occasionally chase ours if bored
Ideally adult only home as he is mouthy when he gets excited but could be ok with older children
Not be left too long. Can manage 4 hours with medication onboard (gabapentin&trazodone)
A home with someone who likes agility/scent training/ other work because he loves learning and is great at it.
