Interesting read! Grey Seals Inflict Slow, Painful Deaths on Porpoises

A recent study published in the Journal of Comparative Pathology reveals that grey seals in Scotland are attacking harbour porpoises, leading to prolonged and painful deaths. The bacterium Mycoplasma phocicerebrale, commonly found in seals’ mouths, is identified as a cause of severe infections not only in porpoises but also in humans who handle the wounded animals.

Scottish grey seals are biting harbour porpoises, causing slow, agonising deaths and posing infection risks to humans

Dog Trainer Warns About Breeds with Behavioural Challenges: Interesting read here- I look at this in a totally different way!!! For me its about the individual dog and owners circumstances primarily- although there are some breeds that would just be unsuitable for some families and environments.

Canine behaviourist Will Atherton has highlighted dog breeds that often struggle with behaviour issues, including Chow Chows, Pugs, and Caucasian Shepherds. Each breed requires tailored training to meet their specific needs. Heather’s Story

Over the past decade I have dedicated my life to animals, after being gifted with the passion for welfare of animals (thanks Gran) I set out on a journey to building the very best pet care business. A place where dogs could be happy and have fun and a service that small animals would have no need to be moved and become stressed, a flexible service for owners of all species in the Bristol area. Following a successful small business for few years I decided to grow the business and build a team of trusted pet carers in Bristol and Bath. Following the birth of two human babies. I have focused my efforts toward formal qualifications in Behaviour and Welfare and I have completed a degree at Hartpury University and I am currently studying an MSc at Lincoln University to for completion in 2019. Alongside all this I attend various CPD seminar and conferences to stay up-to-date with the latest scientific research in Behaviour and welfare. I am happy to help with all behaviour and training issues with a variety of species.
